My favourite place to visit! It's lovely for a peaceful walk to get some fresh air. There are ducks, swans, geese and sometimes a lot of seagulls so be careful with your food. Plenty of spots for a nice picnic. There's a tennis court, outdoor pool and a cafe. It's a lovely location.
The cafe is ok and you can purchase duck feed there. The food is a bit sub par but does the job if you're snacky I suppose. If you frequently go here, I'd recommend purchasing duck feed elsewhere and bringing it...
Read moreThis is a lovely little park just off of the Portishead Esplanade which runs along side the Bristol Channel.... The lake is packed with wildlife,as on our visit there were hundreds different types of wildfowl plus Seagulls etc...We never had any bird food with us,one family over the other side of the lake did and it attracted most of the lake inhabitants,great for the kids...There is also a play area for the little ones,plus the lakeside cafe for something to eat...
Read moreA really lovely family place to visit, maybe walk the dog, have a picnic, watch the boats come in and out, play in the park, dust off your skates and have a skate on the new ramps, walk up to the lighthouse, feed the ducks, row on the rowing boats on the lake, enjoy the children's rides, sit and have a coffee in the lake side cafe or even a swim in the open air pool in the summer. So much to do and all whilst looking at the beautiful scenery the grounds...
