Tried some where different to your usual coastal town travelling down from Warwickshire. Clean and quiet more of a place for 30 year old plus without children. Some lovely walking down by the maina & through woods on coast to beach . Large park with duck pond and esplanade to walk down not really a classic beach . Plenty of parking which is free in most places . Town Is a high st with a few independent shops . Plenty of supermarkets to get a few bits from . So lovely upmarket cafes around the marina and family cafe at lido & park . Only criticism is because not that tourist driven absence of signage so make just you know post codes of where you want to go . We parked at a open site 5 mins walk from the beach area .

Perfect for dog walks. The beach is an estuary beach and so you don’t really get sand, much more mud and rocky beach backed by some grass and salt marsh, adjacent to the beach is a 100-year-old artificial lake and a small park. On a clear day, you get some good views over to the south Wales coast. There's a car park and restrooms available for use. Plenty of benches to seat on

Great place to take the kids. Free parking. Loads to do pedal around the pond in a flamingo! Trampolines for the kids, feed the ducks, a big play park and skate park. Wander along the front and try the out door gym equipment. There's also a Lido (Something we may try next time!) You could fill a whole day here. The cafe was very good for lunch and reasonably priced.

There are plenty of things at this location to keep you occupied for a few hours. Firstly the open air lido is very nice and you can book in advance ot take a chance. Very much 'old school ' type facilities but well kept and run. The Lido cafe does beverages and lovely cakes but no sandwiches etc but with a short drive/walk to others end of Portishead beach there's a lovely cafe selling hot and cold food which is very good , as well as ice creams. There's a children's play area and keep fit apparatus too and a park with duck pond too. Then a walk along the shoreline when tides out allows for beachcombing and sea glass collecting as well as a nice walk, something different to your normal beach activities but well worth an...

One of the most beautiful beaches in United Kingdom 😍 always is the best choice to come there and have a relaxing, walking, taking some deep breath and piece your mind, when you look at the view 😍 just sit down on the bench, or stop , close your eyes and feel the nature 🍀 my heart is always melting, charging my battery and be ready for another day 👌 highly recommended! If you have a lucky, you can enjoy wonderful sunrise or...
