Wow Booked in for afternoon tea yesterday and what a feast it was. Never had one like it before and ended up taking most of it home with us. Staff nice and friendly, table ready upon arrival and cafe lovely and warm (-4 currently outside). Whilst there found about about Christmas Lunch so booked in for that next week with family. Like to support local businesses. Will look out for events like this next year as only found out by chance. (PS Will try and upload a picture of afternoon tea)

Had a lovely afternoon lunch here. Pros of going here: Very clean facilities. Separate dog entrance Childrens play area inside and outside. Very good for a day out. Paid about 5.10 for two hot chocolates with cream and chocolate toppings with a cheese scone. Good price Cons: Parking is awkward, but it is a cafe in the park! No issues x

Had a lovely afternoon lunch here. Pros of going here: Very clean facilities. Separate dog entrance Childrens play area inside and outside. Very good for a day out. Paid about 5.10 for two hot chocolates with cream and chocolate toppings with a cheese scone. Good price Cons: Parking is awkward, but it is a cafe in the park! No issues x

My friend and I visited John Whitehead cafe on Wednesday 23rd July. My friend had the breakfast and I had the vegetarian breakfast. The breakfasts were very tasty,presented well. They were not greasy and the portion size was perfect. Nice and hot and freshly cooked from scratch. The black coffee and decaff latte where also perfect. The staff in the cafe very nice and helpful. Prompt service and where asked if everything alright. Which it was. We would definitely recommend this lovely...
