Cafe on the Barge — Restaurant in England

This delightful Café on the Barge, is literally what it says on the tin, and you go inside and order and pay for tea and the delicious home made cake is not to be missed - there are 2 small tables on the outside and more tables on the grass just outside.

Great atmosphere, friendly and delightful staff and reasonable prices too.

I have been passed this place on several occasions and decided today that I would use it and I was not to be disappointed.

Perfect sized delicious cakes! They have benches and space along the towpath for seating and sell all-sorts from iced coffee and diet coke to lattes, cakes and Marshfield ice-cream. There is on street parking next to the local primary school and some wonderful walks along the towpath either into Bath or towards Dundas aquaduct.
