Very poor customer service and atmosphere. I have visited this place twice. On the first visit, I was ordering at the desk and I added a portion of samosas to my order to eat in. The owner was sat at the side and commented “thats too much food”. I felt embarrassed and said I could have it to take out. She then said I should order it at the end if I want to take it out. She made me feel that I should go along with what she’s saying, even though it could have been on the table with everything I ordered and I ask for a doggy bag for anything left over. I didn’t bother ordering them on leaving as she put me off. On the second occasion, after I had finished ordering, I was just making conversation with the lady who took the order about the choice on the menu, just commenting about the variety and that theys some stuff I would like to try, and the owner was brushing up, and I heard her say “has she not finished ordering yet”. This made me feel very small and put me on the spot. When I was eating in I felt watched. I had dropped abit of food by accident. I felt I had to pick it up before leaving because of the way the owner was in making that remark. I wouldn’t recommend anyone ordering chai just before they are closing because it didn’t taste like it was freshly made, it tasted off and this will be cos it’s the leftovers. I won’t be going to this place again. They are other chai places which I’m sure I won’t be told I’m ordering too much food and being made...

Never been to Blackburn before but while was there , found out about this place somehow while Google searching. Went there on the day I left Blackburn, it was Sunday morning. Thought to quickly grab some paratha ( most people reviewed it as great ) and take it with me all the way to capital. It was chucking rain, 🌧️ . They need to fix the guttering in front of the entrance it was a deluge of water coming down. It's mostly run by the ladies and has two floors. People were eating parathas as bfast with chai. So, I tried to order their speciality after discussing a girl in the counter, unfortunately a lady came and said for parathas theres a long wait due to a big order is being prepared Hence ordered Puris and chana masala and halwa. I was in the impression that Puris will be small on sizes hence ordered a.large quantity but when I opened the container in home after traveling almost 7hrs from there to home I was surprised, it was chole batura kind of thing. It was really tasty and me and family enjoyed a lot and now joke within ourselves when is the next trip to Blackburn. So , it was also a long wait for my order but it was worth waiting. So, all hail to these hard working ladies....

The Trustees of Al-Imdaad Foundation had the pleasure of visiting Chai Station in Blackburn, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The owners of Chai Station truly know how to create a warm and inviting atmosphere that immediately makes you feel right at home.

From the moment we stepped through the doors, we were greeted with genuine warmth and hospitality. The owners went above and beyond to ensure that every guest felt welcomed and comfortable. Their friendly smiles and attentive service truly added to the overall experience.

The desi breakfast served at Chai Station was absolutely outstanding. The flavors were authentic, and each dish was prepared with great care and attention to detail. Whether it was the perfectly cooked eggs, the delicious parathas, or the mouthwatering potato baji - made especially for us :)

Overall, my visit to Chai Station was nothing short of excellent. The owners' hospitality, warmth, and dedication to creating a comfortable dining experience truly set this place apart. I highly recommend Chai Station to anyone looking for an exceptional desi breakfast. You won't be...

Came here for breakfast/brunch. The owner (I pursume) took my order. Excellent customer service as they explained to me what desi scrambled eggs was, never had before. Order the full English breakfast with scrambled desi eggs and replaced chai with orange juice. Ordered the Mexican tortilla wrap with some chips which both tasted good and the same as this place opened up. Along with two bottle drinks, they have a range of drinks to choose from hot and cold. They have a large range of different food items to choose from. Parking is a bit tricky as its a narrow street. I would highly recommend anyone from Blackburn area or any other area to try their food out, as where it is located, the food and the inside dining is all a welcome home feeling.

Ok, I think the people writing the reviews for this place have not stepped afoot out of audley range. In whole honesty the food is doable at best. I would rather much spend my 6.99 on onlyfans. The sausages were burnt and the tea was far too sweet. Bechara bhudda suffering from diabetes would be led to an early grave. The lady serving was very polite i would have just given her some cash and gone off to costa for a coffee. Pricy for a breakfast you could have made better at home yourself. Edit 04/08/23 - This place has gotten much better and the breakfast buns are to die for especially when served by the waitresses with a smile. Still won’t be trying the tea though after my previous review :)

Chai station is an awesome place to go & eat & you can relax with family & friends. Nice to catch up over tea coffee or desserts to share with friends. Lots of choice in foods & drinks hot or cold. I really recommend their desi breakfast & aloo parathas. We also got some pani puri or gol gappays whichever you prefer to call them. They are a favourite snack of mine. The milkshake was nice thick & creamy. From traditional asian foods to english foods too. Very nice interior & lots of seating place too. Something for everyone to enjoy wether you like hot spicy food or sweet food. The kadak chai in the clay pots is a personal favourite of mine. Very unique like you have abroad
