Greggs — Restaurant in England

I go Greggs all the time this one in particular is my go to Greggs cos it’s well practical. Today was a disaster and I wanna save the people the good people, the kings people from what happened to me today. Dozens if not hundreds of times I’ve got the Mexican oval bite sandwhich prepared for me without all the gunk dashed on it, I like it simple chicken and lettuce. Happy days. But today I was told that management have put a stop to making special requests for butties so the games up, quid bakery need to open up for the masses! They also didn’t have any yumyums and Greggs with yummies is a world we shouldn’t have to live in. Don’t even get me started on the temp of the steak bake cos the day that’s right will be the day I win euro millions without getting a ticket. Happy bank...

Visited the place on 03/09/2024 at 08:10 am. Requested an egg muffin. This should have been prepared with the green vegetarian tongs. However, the server used the red tongs to handle the egg, which was being stored in the same side tray as another red pair of tongs which was used to handle bacon and sausage. Admittedly, I didn't question as the staff would have just tried to come up with an excuse and just purchased the item for £2.40 and then gave it away. Disappointed in the the way the procedures to avoid/minimise cross contamination are being flouted. Makes me question all other vegetarian options (including cakes and pasties). Greggs are the best for pasties sandwiches & soups. Cheese & onion pasties & vegetable pasty is good & you can also get vegan pasty too. Lots of delicious sweet treats for adults & kids & you can get meal deals which are good value for money. Vegan rolls too which are good for all vegetarians & vegans. Lots of cakes desserts & lovely doughnuts with all sorts of toppings & fillings. Jam doughnut & ring doughnuts are always a favourite.
