Went as a group of 3 ordered 1 tawa and some sides. Food was delicious. However on the other hand service was terrible. A table next to me had ordered tea and they had been served tea. When I asked for a cup of tea I was told it would not be possible to make as it was busy. I found that quite shocking seeing other customers being served tea. I understand it's not on the menu but if it's been served to a table next to me it's unfair for it not to be served to myself. After confronting the manager he tried to brush it off giving me a load of excuses saying he didn't want to compromise quality of food etc which I didn't get as it had nothing to do with wanting tea. I never review restaurants that I go to this is the first time and service was absolutely appaulling so I found the need to comment. Food was delicious I repeat but due to the terrible service and excuses I will never return. Waiters swearing under the breath when under pressure didn't find it...
Read moreThis Indian restaurant is one the oldest in Blackburn long before Kebabish Original, Waheed, East Z East and Roomali. This family restaurant is good and not too pricey. A private citizen wrote comment below day light robbery in a small town ? Blackburn is a large town population 120,500 with Darwen it is 150,500
Blackburn Preston and Blackpool are largest towns in county of Lancashire. Small towns in Lancashire are Accrington pop 39,500 Darwen pop 28,500 Clitheroe pop 16,500 I don't think this restaurant charge high end price of the those big chain restaurants around Blackburn, Preston, Bolton and Manchester. Blackburn has over 300 Restaurants, takeaways, coffee shops and dessert parlours and very busy place as more than 40 percent of people are coming out of town to enjoy our hospitality industries. Blackburn has some nice restaurants and prices are reasonable. Blackburn is cheaper compared to places like Preston, Bolton...
Read moreI have been using HAWELI Restaurant now for many years. The staff and the food is excellent at Haweli. What I realy like about Haweli is that they automatically serve you with jugs of water with every meal. Serving of water is very important for some people as they may have health conditions. This is not what many other places such as KARAHI KEBAB with a disgusting service not serving water offer nowadays as with my own personal experience with Karahi Kebab recently. Such want to only profiteer from you and have no regards towards your health and wellbeing and only want to push fizzy sugar filled drink at you to profiteer from you. HAWELI has an excellent service in comparison to many restaurants and takeaways in the area I have visited. The excellent service from the staff and Mr Makda the restaurateur being very friendly polite and professional is worth every visit to Haweli. Highly...
