Tasty food, small portions though. Highly priced if compared to a restaurants nearby e g. Desi.
They mixed up our orders. Instead of masala chips we got normal chips. Instead of paratha, got masala chips while receipt showed naan. Lolll. 😁😆 Not just one error, as the highlight was when someone's order was given to us, then the staff member grabbed it from our plate and give to the other customer, then seconds later brought our 🙄 - Why not just give the other one to the other customer?
But, the funniest part was when Order numbers get shouted out after we ordered while receipts were not given to us. Would expect that numbers r needed in mcdonalds not a small cafe 😁😄as the staff member still ended up bringing it to our table so remembered who ordered what so could hv saved themselves the 5 shout outs. 😁
Generally, were not very friendly, considering it is new. Looked frustrated. Not happy and angry especially when had to remind about an order twice.
Beautiful decor though.
Slightly bigger premises n sitting area than Chaiwalla. But generally, the Menu style, food choices, lighting etc are copied concepts from chaiwalla.
Would order the food again though, as was tasty, but maybe not every...
Read moreThis is one of the chaiwalas that needs to be closed down. The place is awful, looks like a shack. No place to sit, it’s dirty and smells. The people who work there aren’t great either and the food isn’t any better. I wish the owners would put more into this chaiwala, when all the others are so beautiful and do well. I’ve ordered from here and twice I’ve been given scraps, and the chai isn’t even worth it. I’m a frequent goer to this franchise; take me to any other chaiwala, and never doubt that the over all experience in house and delivery will be A*… but this one. Awful. Anyways I ordered my usual, 2 scoops of ice cream, but does this look like two scoops, or 1 scoop and then the scraps of another? Gajar halwa looked and tastes like sloppy porridge and karak chai was just a tasteless bitter broth. I’m very unhappy when usually my experiences have always Alhumdulilah been positive especially the London ones. £22 not worth spending. What a let down. Will be avoiding...
Read moreI came here on a Tuesday night and was greeted by the owner who took my order. He was a super nice guy and very attentive!
I got the samosa chaat, bun kebab, chicken tikka roll and karak chai. The chai was probably one of the best I've had! The food itself was really good too! I personally didn't care much for the bun kebab though, so next time won't be getting that.
As for the location, it's small. There are about 6 tables in total (3 inside and 3 outside). So if you're looking to eat in during their busy time, you probably won't...
