Cheviot Farm Bakery — Restaurant in England

We stopped off here on Saturday. We didn't get a good feeling when we entered the shop. The girl serving us was either extremely rude or had a very bad day. I asked her for a cheese scone with butter. Her face made me realise I had made a mistake but we had already ordered tea so didn't turnaround and walk out. Then I asked for a scone for my wife and she dropped it into a bag. Not even a question did we want it buttered. Very depressing and unhappy disposition . Got to the car and the scone had margarine on it. Not butter.

Stopped by expecting to buy a fresh loaf of bread (baked today). Young man serving seemed clueless and did not know when bread was baked. Removed one mouldy white loaf and sold me a small wholemeal advising it was baked yesterday (Sunday seems doubtfull). Got back to our holiday accommodation to find the bread was like cardboard - straight in the bin! Would not return - local public health department need to pay a visit to this shop, it...

I stopped in Wooler by chance on my way from Hartlepool to Aberdeenshire. I just wanted some soft bread buns which I got. However when I saw the 🍒 and fruit scones I took 4 of those as well.
