A cute cafe with lovely cakes and a cosy, welcoming atmosphere. The menu had a great variety of delicious looking food, and the staff were polite, friendly, and attentive. Dogs are welcome, too. My reason for 4 stars and not 5 is this: On the window, they display a "shop local sticker," which is a sentiment I agree with 100%, so when I Googled the coffee they use, I found it was from Rochdale! Wooler has an excellent roaster selling stunning coffees, and I find it quite sad that not 1 coffee shop in Wooler supports it. While the coffee served in The Terrace Cafe was OK in quality, the brew itself was a touch over extracted. As an espresso or long black drinker, it stands out to me. However, my husband's latte was fine and had a good milk texture. We would definitely go again, but I'd probably...

I would give this place 7 stars if I could! I like to eat out for breakfast as a bit of a hobby and the terrace cafe is the best I’ve had anywhere ever! Veggie sausages were spot on, mushrooms perfectly cooked no sogginess, decent portion of beans, perfect grilled tomato, crispy hash brown, eggs perfectly runny, proper toast with good brown bread and 4 knobs of butter for 2 slices (outstanding pro touch) I hate begging for more butter or slithering it around because there isn’t enough. All for £7.50! Coffee was perfect, orange juice in a proper glass not a shot glass like you get in hotels! My only complaint… open earlier please 9 is too late! ⏰ also great ambiance with a fire, super cozy and quirky setup, staff are...

We called in for breakfast as our daughter is filming Vera, so went off chance. The fact that it was full of local people meant we had picked well. There was an impressive mouth watering selection of scones and cakes. From traditional to modern twists on flavours, there's something for everybody. I had the small English breakfast ( 1 of everything) sausage, bacon, egg, hash brown, black pudding (donated this to my husband!) toast and small pot of beans). I would absolutely recommend this, everything high quality and cooked to perfection. My husband has sausage and bacon sandwich (with donated black pudding) and he stated it was the best breakfast sandwich he had ever tasted!. Thank you for your...

A Hidden Gem in Wooler! The Terrace Café is an absolute delight. Set in a beautiful location with stunning views, it’s the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a meal. The decor is calm and welcoming, creating a lovely laid-back atmosphere. Service was first class from the moment we walked in—friendly, attentive, and genuinely warm. And the breakfast? Simply amazing! Cooked to perfection with top-quality ingredients. Can’t recommend this place highly enough—we’ll definitely be back!

What can I say ! When you walk through Wooler there is one place that stands out for locals sitting outside enjoying the day and their food. It’s was also very dog friendly with a dog menu. We only had toasted tea cake and coffee but even that came with the right amount of butter and jam. Very friendly helpful staff. Good value for money and very relaxing. Might have to come back for bacon and sausage roll.
