Great Restaurant. We had booked a table well in advance, thanks to our Covid-19 friend. The proprietor had put laminated guidance for this on the tables. Well, the first line "In case of an emergency, social distancing goes out of the window " should have informed us that it was well run and we were in for a treat! The staff were friendly and efficient. The tables were not laid, but we were brought all the cutlery to sort out table for ourselves. There was a very good menu. We had one starter and two pizzas. The pizzas were fabulous with superb crisp but not hard/burnt bases And no scrimping on additional pizza toppings. Other pizza restaurant proprietors need to visit and see how it should be done. If you like Pizza, you would be daft not to dine here if you are in the area. Keep it up!!

Ordered a lemon, mint and pea risotto which was overcooked and for some bizarre reason laced with dill. Why dill?? The peas had turned that dreaded olive green colour and all I could taste was vegetable stock and dill. Also ordered a glass of milk which was UHT and promptly rejected by little person. Staff were happy to take it off the bill though so no qualms there. Dessert was ok, although someone clearly felt creative and stuck a bunch of rolled waffle sticks on either side of the tiramisu. It’s a real puzzler as to why… And lastly, and this is probably just personal taste, as much as I love Pulp and Oasis, when I go to an Italian restaurant that’s probably the last thing I want to be listening to. So, it was all sort of ok, but I wouldn’t rush back.

Managed to book a table at short notice with lovely friendly staff on the phone. On arrival a balloon was on the table for my birthday which was a lovely gesture. Bottled water is given straight away upon seating. The restaurant is immaculate and beautifully decorated throughout and the staff are lovely and attentive. The food was amazing! Got to say the best Italian restaurant I've been to and they cooked my autistic daughters pizza perfectly and she said she really liked it so it must be good ! I'd recommend this restaurant when visiting to Wooler I wish I lived closer I'd be there all the time but I was on holiday. Thank you for a fantastic meal its a 10/10 from us.

Booked a table with my parents for a Sunday meal and we weren’t disappointed. Despite having one of the last available time slots, the restaurant phoned us earlier in the day to offer a more convenient time — a thoughtful touch and great service even before we arrived!

On arrival, we were shown to a spacious, well-positioned table. One of my pet hates is being crammed into a restaurant where you’re almost on someone else’s lap — but not here! There was plenty of room, which made for a much more comfortable dining experience.

Unfortunately, I missed getting photos of the starters because they were just too good to wait! I’d especially recommend the mussels — absolutely delicious. The only photo I managed was of the empty pan afterwards, which says it all really.

For mains, we tried a beautifully cooked risotto, a chicken and mushroom dish packed with flavour, and I had the pork belly — complete with that essential crispy crackling. Honestly, I’d go back just for the crackling alone!

The staff were attentive without being intrusive, striking just the right balance. All in all, an excellent experience from start to finish. A definite 5-star from us — and we’ll certainly be...

We arrived without a table booked, thinking that a Tuesday evening would be pretty quiet. It wasn't. The lovely staff had a table for us after a short wait and quickly furnished us with menus and table water. I couldn't decide between 2 main dishes, and the waitress recommended the Shetland mussels. Our starters arrived promptly, salt and pepper squid and mushroom topped bruschetta, and both were beautifully presented and delicious. A wonderful waitress noticed my wine glass was empty and asked if I'd like another. Obviously, the answer was yes, but I couldn't remember which I'd had. She bought 2 bottles over, the one I'd had before and 1 she thought I'd like. I opted for another glass of Italian red. Our main courses were also absolutely gorgeous. The mussels were served in a delicious broth, and the side order of house cut chips was yummy. Being nosey, I did see plate after plate of good-looking dishes go by me to other dinner guests, and I'm sure anyone dining at Milan would enjoy what they have to offer. We crammed down a pudding of bannoffee pie and New York cheesecake and waddled back home very well fed and certain we'd...

Had a meal there last week, it was fairly busy mid-week but not too full. Staff were friendly, we were seated and drinks and food order taken promptly. Food was really good and well priced too. Reason for knocking off a star is that after we'd received the food our service was near non-existent. It took 20 mins to clear our starter plates, almost 30 mins to clear our mains plates despite a server coming up to have a chat to the table next to us - and would've clearly seen our plates - but then just walking off. Eventually they came and cleared and we asked for the bill which they did bring quickly... But didn't bring a card reader with it. We waited another 5 minutes then eventually just got fed up and ended up walking down to the bar the pay ourselves there. Ultimately we just felt a bit forgotten about once we'd been delivered our meal, which made us leave on a bit of a downer. But the food really was good - portions massive though so watch...
