Great local café – and Caroline is a star!

Popped into Choice Café in Leicester recently and was seriously impressed. It’s a proper hidden gem — relaxed, friendly, and exactly the kind of place you want to start your day. The food was spot on (I had the full English), cooked fresh and served up fast, but still with that homemade feel. Decent portions too, which is always a bonus!

What really made the visit special though was Caroline. She’s one of those people who just makes you feel instantly welcome. Super friendly, chatty without being over the top, and clearly cares about the regulars and newcomers alike. You can tell she helps give the café its lovely vibe.

Popped in this morning for a breakfast. They dont accept card payments so I asked the lovely black haired lady if she could get me a coffee while I was at the atm further down the road. I got back and it was ready and waiting. I'd only been sat down five minutes before my full English arrived. It was tasty, fresh and ample sized. Coffee was still hot when I finished.
