Had a great day out to watch Liverpool v Man City here today where car parking was great all around the ground it self and especially for the disabled blue badge holder where the cost was free. Inside the ground stewards were all very friendly and helpful and the seats space for my wheelchair had lots of room and my son sat next to me and overall view was great and to top off the day Liverpool won so we were very happy. NOW the only bad bits I could say about was twice my son went to get drinks inside the ground once gone 40 minutes and the other gone 30minutes but waited in the queue both times and only moved one space forward so had to go without a drink at the game, and the only other issue I would say was trying to get out of car parks and away from the ground the set up for the traffic and roads after the game today was very bad I have got out of Wembley and London a hell of a lot quicker and there wasn't anyone that seemed to know what the hold up or problem was.. I would go on to say though the overall experience of going to this game here was great and I would definitely go back to watch Liverpool play there again and would recommend to other disabled supporters to attend...
Read moreVisited King Power Stadium to watch England Lionesses yesterday, have also been before for the same reason. Got to the turnstiles and asked to go through the disabled accessible entrance (invisible illnesses one being extreme anxiety on that particular day) which we were allowed. We were greeted by two lovely members of staff who then noticed we had no idea where to go, one member of staff took us to our seats, which was lovely of him. Booked an end seat on row C because I have a bad knee so need the extra leg room, however it seemed that everyone on our row wanted to get in and out constantly during warm ups and some of the first half. During half time I asked a steward if we could move into the free disabled accessible/carer seats in front of the barrier because at this point I was in absolute agony, he was lovely and let us. On leaving the stadium we used the disabled toilet, which was clean apart from the usual tissue on the floor, they also had sanitary products, incontinence products and waste bags all free, which I think is brilliant! Overall a good experience! Especially with England...
Read moreTo be honest, I'm not a big fan of the sport; but it doesn't mean what a beautiful course of my life; I have not seem and even with interest; some important football. I happened to see a football match lovely between and Italian team against the Leicester team (obviously and friendly ). As soon as I entered the stadium, Was able to see immediately and to my amazement that the athletics running track was missing around the football field; which in many stages are still traced and used only for some significant event;also because in our times track and field conditions are built separately. It was built in 2002;instead of the old stadium which was called: Filbert Street. The structure of the new stadium appears still modern and well positioned; as it is not far from the city center and from the railway station. It can also be reached on foot if you whish. The staff is kind and Welcoming to the public ;in the stadium structure, there is a well -stocked gift shop and of course there is no lack of refreshment points, which offer good quality...
