Went to the Wellington Coffee#1 today (Sunday 12th May at 1400hrs) to be greeted with large makeshift signs (yet again, when will they sort there staffing issues out) saying that drinks would be in disposable cups due to staffing problems yet there was only a handful of customers inside. Half an hour after I arrived the two girls serving started turning customers away unless they just wanted takeaway. By this time there was only three separate people in the place (with disposable cups) so why on earth the two girls couldn't cope with a few more sit-ins is beyond me. An elderly gentleman came in and was turned away as he wanted to sit in. I then heard the girls saying to each other that they couldn't cope with the washing up, etc. They then proceeded to stand and chat behind the counter for about 10-15mins. Read moreI have lost count how many times I have come in this delightful cafe and always received the sweetest service from every member of the team here. The coffee is fantastic ☕️ the pastries are morish 🥐 and I am always welcomed with a kind smile and a friendly natter 🤗 I could go on and on about how lovely and organised this little place is 🤩 just know that if your looking for brunch or breakfast or lunch 110% would insist coffee #1 wellington 😁 I hope the staff are reward for their hard work and recognised for the extra care they clearly put in...

No newspapers so wouldn’t come back on that basis alone.
