A busy place, I decided to try on a Sunday while shopping. After quite a wait in a que to take my order at the counter, the seat which I intended to take was now taken by someone else, which kind of annoyed me but hey the joys of eating out solo I suppose. I placed my order, having to repeat it a couple of times to the staff member who seemed preoccupied with things going on behind sort of wound me up a little, just small things but I didn't think it was a good start. My cappuccino was delivered to the table but no sugar, I was told "it's all over there" so after pushing through the que of people waiting to order and then back again I sat down and tried my coffee, which I am glad to say was good, a little towards the hotter end for me but good none the less, I wasn't sure about smiling face of dusted chocolate powder, perhaps 😐 would have been more apt. My food arrived after a not unreasonable wait, tuna melt panini with homemade slaw. The smell of fish was pungent to say the least, I did wonder about mentioning it but I know tuna can be a bit wiffy when heated and the slaw looked good so I pushed past it all and got stuck in. The panini, on the whole was good and the slaw and salad actually topped it off for me so all wasn't lost. Overall I wasn't blown away, too busy, not enough staff attention and my own issues with the food left me thinking I probably wouldn't try again, well maybe for a coffee.

Nice clean and bright with a relaxing atmosphere, I had coffee and a bagel which was responsibley priced if I had to be super critical the bacon was quite greasy it could of done with being placed on some kitchen roll before serving, however I would definitely return.

For me, the ideal cafe: well laid out; comfy seating; interesting view of town life through panoramic windows; concern to get the order right (lacto'free - important); tasty, fresh food, and hot coffee. An excellent pre-work chill out.

I have gone out of my way on two separate occasions to come to this cafe specifically, paying for parking. Both occasions I have been very disappointed. The first time myself and a friend ordered food and I sat for an hour while my friend had long finished his food and mine never came. The staff were rude and unapologetic despite me being very understanding and polite about it but I did recieve a refund. On the second attempt, I arrived at 1530pm where we stood for a few minutes while a staff member sat at a table chatting to a friend before we were acknowledged and served by the other member of staff who had been in the kitchen. We ordered a panini, to which the waitress behind the counter asked the other waitress sat at the table if the kitchen was still open. Myself and my girlfriend looked at the other worker who screwed her face up after a moment of deliberating and decided that no, the kitchen was not open. There was no apology. Seeing as the cafe does not close until 1630 it is unacceptable that no food is being served up to an hour prior, this level of service comes across that the members of staff could not be bothered to speak to customers nor be bothered to clean the toasty machine.

This cafe could not be less welcoming or helpful and I will not be returning. I'm sure it has lost plenty of business for the...

Myself and my cousin came here for a quick coffee and bite to eat. The coffee was lovely and the staff were very friendly however my cousin received a dirty coffee cup which had food still stuck to it, she went to ask one of the staff who has went out of her way for a clean cup to then have the owner come out with a very rude and sarcastic attitude to say the cup wasn’t even dirty.. really? Even more on the downside the bacon sandwiches we received were inedible, the buns were stale and the bacon was basically cremated (burned to a crisp). I can’t fault the other staff members who were lovely and one of them couldn’t be any more apologetic after the coffee cup scenario but safe to say we definitely won’t...
