I went in to try and have a nice little outing with my 1 year old son. He's dairy intolerant, he can have little bits but not alot so when we go places I always ask if they have anything dairy free and if not that's ok. There was a sign hung up saying talk to a member of staff for any intolerance. I asked the man and he looked at me like my son was a problem and sighed and said scrambled eggs and laughed at my son. He was rude. He then apologised to the customer after me, for asking something they have a sign saying to ask about! Rude and unnecessary

Response - people remember things differently and believe in their own truths. My truth is that you believe in being friendly however you werent. For you to say my truth is untrue is abhorrent. My experience with you has been negative, im sorry if that offends you. You didn't smile, you sniggered. You had the time to explain but you didn't. You have a sign saying ask about intolerance then mock those with intolerances. That is my experience and my truth. I respect that you may remember it differently however I will not be inadvertently called a liar. My issue wasnt that you dont cater for intolerances it is the attitude and disrespect of customers by your staff. After looking at many other reviews left by others, I wish you and your...

Visited early evening on a Saturday when it was quiet. It's a big place so expect even at busy times you can still get a table. It's pretty nondescript, but clean.

Ordered two waffles with ice cream. When they came they were both pretty big, much bigger than expected and more than you would usually get elsewhere. Even the sweetest tooth would struggle to manage one of these! Having said that, they were pretty good and toppings were generous, though not sure why you have to pay extra for ice cream on top for the price you're paying.

At almost £15 for two waffles though I think it's a bit on the expensive side, definitely more of a treat than a regular thing, and maybe share one...

we have been for the second time and we are very pleased. the first outing was on Sunday for breakfast I was surprised by the portion and the taste of everything fresh combination of scrambled eggs with salad perfect. the second time we were there in the afternoon I ate very good dumplings and my wife ate a waffle I am impressed by the taste of dumplings...my wife was delighted with the taste of fruit in waffles says she has not eaten such wonderful and good fruit for a long time and would like to know where they are ordered from . As for the service, professional friendly staff always smiling. this is a place that we will visit often and which I can recommend with a...

First time visiting Miss Elephant and unfortunately a little disappointed. The food does look better than it tastes. Unfortunately this is not from me as I couldn't eat anything as there was no vegan option but I was told by other members of the party that the pancake was a little chewy and likely to be reheated. We ordered one waffle with 3 toppings and a sauce, one pancake with 2 toppings and a sauce, a bottle of fanta and a black coffee and the bill was just shy of £16. The food disnt come out together leaving one child a little impatient. Also no aircon on a very hot summers day. The cafe is nicely done out but unfortunately not a place for us.

Visited Miss Elephant a few weeks' back and thoroughly enjoyed it. They have a vast selection of tasty desserts (waffles and pancakes), as well as the best homemade chicken noodle soup and Polish pierogi I've ever had. Dishes are well presented and affordable - important in this current climate. The place itself has a good ambience and is clean. The staff are friendly, helpful and polite, and the owners are so hard-working and dedicated. An easy 5 stars and highly recommended 🤗
