Costa Coffee — Restaurant in England

Staff are very friendly, professional and welcoming. Lovely, clean and bright new cafe with drive-thru option. Standard range of Costa food and drink but well presented. There are several outside seats with parasols so perfect if the weather's good and you have your dog with you. Accessible to wheelchairs and has toilets on site. Charging points for laptops/phones. The only negative is the entrance to the car park which, for some reason is very tight for 2 cars - only really wide enough for 1 car at a time. It does have a covered cycle parking area though which is positive. Also, drive-thru can be a long wait when there are several cars in the queue - sometimes better to decamp and go into the cafe for takeout. Great coffee and toast.. Easy parking. Excellent welcoming and helpful team. Very clean and tidy. Seating not crammed in... BUT just wish it was more comfortable. Pleae get the very draughty, even chilly Air Con sorted, even causing the lights to swing in the breeze! Visiting managers say they'll get it fixed. Nothing happens. Food prices have crept up above inflation. Site teams need proper toasters as the multi purpose units only do 1 side and this makes unnecessary delays to service time. Came in to buy a gift card, 2 men at the till (I presume a manager and a new colleague), manager was berating the colleague saying “It’s what I’ve already showed you hundreds of times” then snatched something off of him. When I was served by the manager he didn’t speak a single word, snatched my money off me and walked away once transaction was completed. He looked at me like I was an inconvenience when I asked for the receipt. I understand Christmas is a stressful time of year for retail/hospitality employees (I work in it myself) but there is no need to be rude to your staff or customers. I won’t be...
