Costa Coffee — Restaurant in England

Great when they actually give the right person the correct order. Unfortunately mine was given to someone else. My burrito was being heated, I told them I would be back to collect as I went to order some more food from McDonald’s nearby and on my return my order was being opened by another customer like if the Easter bunny had given him a freebie for being on his best behaviour. The staff (2 girls) talked amongst themselves and said “was that order his?” As if I wasn’t even there, I looked back at the burrito munching beast and I’m being polite, I turned back to the staff and said “I’m not having that one.” It was being breathed on by some humongous human-like beast being unboxed like a YouTube review. He had ordered something entirely different and didn’t even have the audacity to refuse when he was handed it. Just shows he didn’t have a single brain cell in his empty vessel of a head aka the black hole to differentiate between a burrito and his order, a coffee with a creamy swirl. I am very happy with the customer service we received at this particular Costa from Katie and Erin. It’s not often to get people serving you with a smile and with patience at this day and age. Not everyone is a regular and, for someone who just arrived in the country, they explained to me that the drink I chose comes with 3 shots but I could opt for less. And I took their advice - best thing I’ve done, it was a very strong Ice Mocha, on point. They went above and beyond and made a difference to a good start of the day! Have this place one star before on a different platform because they often just closed early, or refused to make you a drink because they were closing in half an hour and had cleaned the machine.

However that was a few years ago, so perhaps things have changed.
