Costa Coffee — Restaurant in England

My 3 years old son and I went to grab some crisp and hot chocolate and they refused to serve us at 15:45 saying they have understaffed and they have to close immediately. We were okay whit this, even we were the last customer on the queue... but we left because what we can do...However one young man went to the shop and he got served with hot drinks sandwiches etc... So my question is .. how on earth he got served?and me and my son just refused straight away...so I went back and asked an email address to contact or manager....they said on the first place will give me, but when the front counter person (Channel) went back to the office and came back informed me NO managers, NO Email address where I can contact...I asked why and her answer was ,,dont argue with me,, sp unprofessional and this is unacceptable!!! I'm not 16 years old girl to let anybody to talk with me like this....I don't want any free drinks or vouchers! just leave this feedback here and let the costa knows my best knowledge of closing property before the time online or on the door it is a fake information for the customers...and seeing the other reviews it is not the first time...and something to deal with the...

Nightmare if you like cold brew. I get pretty excited each year around summer because Costa make cold brew coffee… something that should really be available all year like their other cold drinks. Either way if you come to this Costa they never have it. If you come at 9am as they open they don’t have it, lunch time they don’t and near close. They say they have sold out but I think they just don’t bother. One time they had it and it tasted terrible. Like they brewed it for 4 hours, no taste. Usually Costa make amazing cold brew. This store totally lets the chain down. I visit Costa all over the country as I travel for work. This store lets them all down. The staff don’t care either. They either go silent or look at each other and laugh. Not going back here. Also please empty the bins. I had to Wade through 2 overflowing bins outside with Costa...

Always closing early on a random basis for 'staff shortages' - but has no vacancies. Just look at the popular times on Google - there's no entry for any day after 3pm yet allegedly they say they open till 4pm. Closes at 2pm every single Sunday. Like now, yet there's 3 staff inside laughing at people going to the door. More likely is they aren't short, they just want to go on the dot and don't know how to manage a closing time. 3rd time I've been let down with random early closing for 'staff shortages' recently. I'm done. Will never take a trip here again. Normal for here; rude staff, very dirty seats, no empties collected for hours, no aircon, broken till for months so they can't add or redeem points (more like don't want to). Really gone from one of the best to being the worst Costa in a 50...
