Costa Coffee — Restaurant in England

I asked for coffee with full sugar hazelnut syrup. It tasted so heavily of artificial sweetener I couldn't drink it. When I took it back I was told that they only had full sugar hazelnut syrup so it couldn't possibly have artificial sweetener in it, as if I can't tell the difference between sugar and sweetener. The female I spoke to had a poor attitude, she waved a bottle at me from a distance as if to prove what she was saying (far enough away that I couldn't read the label) and was most unhelpful. She badly needs some customer services training. Based on this first visit I shan't be using Melksham...

Not been to our local costa in melksham for a while & after our visit today may leave it even longer till the next.... most of the tables needed clearing & everything is in need of a damn good clean! (Even the spoons were dirty)....We moved tables as table & chairs were very dirty & not cleared (which we did ourselves) but the next was no better I had to sit/hover on a chocolate covered chair... (also noticed others were dirty) Just felt grotty today & in need of bringing back up again... hopefully it will happen as it is nice to have a Costa in town but untill then I may go elsewhere for...

Location is desirable in the centre of town providing a central point to stop for refreshments whilst shopping. The cafe itself was clean and tidy with plenty of tables to offer. The mass of windows provides a good view from which to watch from whilst enjoying coffee. However I found the staff to be a little unhelpful in that rather than being able to receive table service we were asked to stand and wait whilst our drinks were made. This seemed unnecessary considering the intake of customers at this point in time was considerable low and there was an adequate number of staff to enable...
