Gonjoo - Cafe and bakehouse — Restaurant in England

Went here today as my parents moved to the area and told us there were ‘no cafes’. Thankfully it only took a brief search to prove otherwise 🤣 Looked it up beforehand and saw the great ratings, definitely didn’t disappoint. The staff are so friendly and attentive, there were lots of freshly baked cakes that looked delicious. The menu is varied with so many options at great prices and there’s loads of space to sit down. Not to mention its within easy access of the library car park so you don’t have to walk very far. It’s clean and well decorated. Went straight home to tell parents and they are now extremely excited reading through the menu and exclaiming - guess this is our local favourite cafe now! Look forward to coming again...

Went here for some lunch today whilst waiting for my car to have its MOT (haven’t been to melksham for a while so didn’t know where to go) and just wow 🤩, lovely warm atmosphere as soon as you walk in love the design, lovely layout, we ordered chips, cheese and bacon, and a mixed grill plus a latte and hot chocolate. Staff were really welcoming and helpful, it was quite busy when we got there (I like that as it shows the place is good) the food came out very promptly and tasted amazing would definitely go here again and it was really good...

Visited a couple of times recently, can recommend the bacon, brie and cranberry toastie however that's about as good as it got for me. The tables don't feel like they've been cleaned properly in weeks, the menu's are dirty and tatty, some staff choose to ignore you but worst of all is the coffee. An illy automated machine is used and that picture is supposed to be a flat white. It was beyond weak and milky, even asking for a 'strong' coffee didn't make a difference. Completely tasteless.
