I don’t often go for a curry but my partner is looking to move to the area and is a huge fan so booked The Tandoori as I’d heard it had recently been refitted and I knew they also had an alcohol licence as some others in town don’t. The restaurant was warm and cosy, the service was swift and attentive. Delicious food ranging from the familiar to the specialist, it caters to most degrees of tame and adventurous. The staff are always exceptionally warm and friendly. The one detracting point is that the food often has slightly too much ghee or oil for my palate, but beneath that the flavours are balanced and vibrant! This review is really only based on the food and the collection as we had a takeaway. Collection was bad as they just leave it out unattended and have to help your self so had to check but someone could take others food as well and non the wiser.
