Costa Coffee — Restaurant in England

The lady at the till was extremely rude. Told me off for approaching the counter when the gentleman in front of me stepped away, I hadn't realised he was coming back. Her words were 'excuse me, can you not see I'm not done serving this gentleman?" - well I couldn't because he had stepped away - and then told me to "go stand over there until I'm done."

Most unpleasant employee, didn't seem to understand the concept of customer service. Ruined my experience at Costa, usually one of my favourite coffee shops. Just because it's located in a rest stop and may not have a lot of repeat customers is no excuse...

Called here on a Thursday morning around 10.30, was quite busy. Ample seating available though. The product range was a bit limited for the size of Costa, not normally what is expect. The staff were busy and looked like they needed a hand, the wait wasn't excessive, just seemed to take a while.... probably because I was ready for a break! Staff are friendly enough. The car park can be a bit awkward and if it's busy you might well end up parking up what seems quite a walk - partly due to the Travelodge that shares the site with...

Witnessed a really lovely moment today when the barista Josh helped a lady choose a gluten free sandwich and cake. The lady was walking with a stick and said she wouldn’t be able to carry her coffee to the car so would do without and just take the sandwich and cake, but josh very kindly offered to do this for her. Nothing was too much for him and he was very patient when helping her make her choices at the counter. Always good service at the main coffee shop in scotch corner services but this was...
