Costa Coffee — Restaurant in England

This is the best Costa I've ever been to. I spent about 5 hours here each day for 4 consecutive days to work, while staying at a nearby caravan site.

The service is fantastic as the staff are incredibly welcoming and attentive to customers. The coffee was spot on each time. They're very happy to accommodate customisations, so don't be afraid to ask for an 'extra hot' or 'wet' (less froth) coffee.

Super clean, though perhaps tables could be cleared and cleaned quicker after customers have left.

It's great for laptop work. Many tables, about 10 or so, have sockets and USB charging points very nearby. It's also not particularly loud even when brimming with customers. Most morning customers are elderly, mostly duos in the afternoon, very few larger gatherings, and I only experienced one screaming child which didn't last too long either.

Tables are well spaced out so you're never too near someone else. Toilet is very clean. It's a new building (2022), so facilities and decor are modern. Parking is free with no time restrictions as of Nov 22.

I have had terrible experience here. Every single part of my order went wrong. I asked for a medium takeaway cup of just an espresso with cold whole milk. The person at the till made no communication to the barista and what I received first was a dine in coffee. They did it again and it came out as half a cup of coffee made with semi-skimmed. I asked why there’s just half a cup of coffee and the manager said because there’s no ice and refused to give me a whole cup of coffee which I paid for. Are Costa really so stingy on their milk! despite me paying good money for what is expected to be a treat, a good quality coffee done just how I like it. I don’t go to a coffee shop to be insulted with half a glass of what I paid for made with some different milk. What if I was allergic to nuts and they gave me almond milk! Handy Costa i use if im going to shops here, staff are as good as gold, only buy coffee if i get a Vodafone voucher and get two beans for using my own cup, couldn't afford to pay full price as I'm on my last million, this Costa as outside seating which would of been good if we had warm days like we did in the 1960s & 1970s, may be could sit outside if i invested in a pair of snow shoes, cake is cut too thin for £4 but you don't have to buy it I guess, find drinking one cup of coffee keeps me a wake most of the night so avoid it if you are thinking of catching the...
