Costa Coffee — Restaurant in England

I visited the restaurant about 10.00 this morning. As always the coffee was lovely, however the choice of pastries was very limited. I was informed by a rather disinterested young staff member that the policy is to not produce some items until after 11.00 because the company wish to promote their breakfast menu before that hour. I would have liked a croissant with my coffee but apparently there had not been a delivery yesterday, there was also no carrot cake available (usually this is a favourite of mine). I go here with my friend most Wednesdays to have a cuppa and catch up before we do our respective shops. It's very handy being incorporated into Tesco, and there is plenty of parking available. Must give a shout out to Holly and Jenny for their outstanding customer service, though all the staff I've encountered here have been polite, friendly and helpful. We usually go late afternoon, so it's not often very busy or noisy. There are various food offerings if you want to eat. The sandwich options are fairly standard.
