Cove Cafe — Restaurant in England

Been here 3 Times in 5 days amazing place great food drink snacks ice cream lovely beautiful views from the cafe and over looks the ocean. Great prices excellent service would love to come back and sit back and watch the sea come in i was in my element great staff very very friendly very good cakes home made and delicious. Very excellent service plenty of room to sit down and have a nice relaxing meal drink they do hot food the most loveliest cakes and snacks great drinks hot and cold fabulous place. I was disappointed overall, especially compared to times I had previously been there. The service time for a basic few meals was extremely slow, with other waiting more than 15 minutes just for tea or coffee. As well as this, my toast was burnt and it didn't have as much taste as I expected. The flake for my hot chocolate had been in some kind of chiller, making it hard and cold, so not flaky or tasty at all.

I'll end up coming here at some point again anyway, but it won't be a snacky meal that I will look forward...

This is an amazing little gem of a café! Don't be out off by the approach; there's an amazing range of different coffees and cakes including some delicious gluten free ones! And they specialise in hot chocolate with an incredible choice of 'normal' flavoured plus a whole section of dark hot chocolate delights.
