Cuppello's — Restaurant in England

The coffee is soooo bad. Like I’d rather drink water. The beans smelled nice in the bag so I ordered, but the extraction was so bad it tasted like I was drinking an americano with a cigarette butt in it. So bad. Honestly no idea where the milk went because I ordered a latte and all I could taste was burnt beans and water. Service was lovely but there was nowhere to sit just 4 wet seats outside in the rain. I have no idea how their rating is so high. Also overpriced for the fact it wasn’t made to the standard of other coffee shops nearby that weigh the beans and heat the milk perfectly with a thermometer. Paid £13 for 3 coffees. I just think that’s too much when it’s this bad. Either lower the price or increase the quality....

Lymm’s hidden treasure!

We came from London and stopped over for a coffee and the guy that owns the place instantly wowed us with his attentiveness and beautifully crafted oat flat white.

On the menu at the place was a goat curry and we were curious to sample it. And my goodness - this was genuinely the best goat curry we’ve ever had! So many layers to it, so much flavour and depth, and served with a warm, crunchy bread.

The kind gentleman explained the recipe was from his grandfather and this made sense as it was clear this hearty dish had a long, proud history.

We shall definitely be back on our next return! What a shame Cuppello’s isn’t a little closer to London as it would definitely be a regular...

24ct ice cubes? Would usually get a latte (£3.50), warm day today so I made the costly mistake of ordering 2 iced lattes instead, ouch! £9.90 for 2… £4.95 for a plain iced latte! £1.45 extra per drink for it to have ice in it? Thought I’d been charged wrong by mistake so I asked just in case, and was told it’s a bigger drink so more costly to make…. No steaming of milk or latte art to do so definitely less labour, probably less milk, bit of ice in it, even if it had a bit more milk in, it seems mad to charge 40% extra. Altrincham and Manchester have some of the best coffee shops around, you’ll struggle to find any charging more than £3.30 for an iced coffee. If it’s a warm day you’ll get stung...
