Stopped here halfway through our cycle and so glad we found this hidden gem! Freshly made sandwiches with so many choices of fillings we honestly struggled to choose. Hot pastries were delicious and the scones were to die for, hats off to whoever made those they were on point 👏 Would come back in a heartbeat.

Visited for a coffee before picking up my nephew from school. The staff were lovely, friendly and polite, making me feel extremely welcome. The latte I ordered was absolutely perfect, one of the best I've ever tasted (and that says a lot considering I'm over in Italy a lot!) 😊

I came here with my family and we loved the food! Very cosy cafe with just 5 tables but we loved it. The cooked breakfast was delicious and we will definitely be back!

I’ve been a loyal customer in the area for over five years and have always made a conscious effort to support local businesses. It’s really disappointing to say that I won’t be returning to this cafĂ© after repeatedly experiencing what feels like unwelcoming and passive-aggressive service—specifically from one member of staff.

On my most recent visit (the third time this has happened), my takeaway order was handed over without a smile, a thank you, or even a word. It was simply placed down abruptly on the counter, and I was left feeling invisible. At first, I tried to brush it off, wondering if I was being too sensitive. But after it happening again and again, it’s clear it’s not just in my head.

What’s especially disheartening is that the cafĂ© used to have such a warm, friendly atmosphere. Most of the staff are still lovely—it’s unfortunate that one person’s attitude can affect the whole experience.

As someone who values community and genuinely enjoys supporting independent cafes, it’s sad to feel pushed out of a space that once felt welcoming.

I will not...

UPDATED 13/11/24: Came back here for breakfast. Absolutely perfect. The Mega Breakfast was a pork-fest packed plate. Great value and fantastic friendly service. Highly recommend the warm Scotch Egg too!! We also bought two slices of GF cake, Coconut and Lime and a slice of Carrot Cake. Again, tasted gorgeous, wouldn’t have even known it was GF.

Will definitely be back again soon, would be an idea to reserve a table as it can get busy in the morning.

Popped in for a quick breakfast, I had a bacon and egg toast sandwich on granary. It was stacked with perfectly cooked thick bacon and a perfect runny fried egg. Staff were friendly, helpful and polite. Lots of tables and chairs inside and a few outside or under a shelter to the right of the shop. Will come again and highly...

A little gem in Coalpit Heath. We went out for a quick coffee while staying at our daughters place and discovered Daisy Chain. Good coffee, great cake selection and a breakfast and lunch menu that we will be back to explore. As we left we bought a couple of pastries for our lunch. All the tables were already reserved which points to its popularity. Friendly staff and good food and drink make for the perfect...
