Eastern Revive — Restaurant in England

I’ve previously been to Eastern Revive restaurants in Knutsford, Wilmslow and Stockton Heath, and I really rate them as being up there with the very best curry houses.

I was therefore thrilled when one opened just up the road in Davenham. So far I’ve visited on 3 occasions, the food and staff are excellent, and I cannot fault it.

Food highlights are Jinga Bhuna (king prawns), Chicken Tikka Jalfrezi and Lamb Balti. The tandoori starters and mains are also excellent, being very succulent and never dry ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I note one review stating that the drinks are over priced, but in my experience, it’s no dearer than anywhere else and especially the draft Cobra 🍺

We were suggested about this restaurant by a good friend of ours and we decided to visit on a Saturday night having booked a table. The food was absolutely outstanding it was out of this world, it is the best Indian restaurant I have ever been to. The flavour and everything were authentic and the cooks in the kitchen definitely knew what they were doing. The staff were friendly and made sure everything and everyone were good too, the restaurant had a really nice atmosphere as well with all but 1 table being left empty people kept coming through the door picking up takeaway orders and asking for any free tables. A fantastic meal to celebrate my husband’s birthday (just the 2 of us). The food was fairly priced, extremely tasty and was a good portion. The staff are very attentive and talkative and even small things like wiping down the table after each course was a nice touch. The food being brought out by the kitchen staff was also great.

We had a mixed starter for 2, a special jalfrezi and karahi for mains with pilau rice and garlic naan for sides.

The poppadum are also nice with a generous portion of dips.

We went on a Friday evening and it was pretty full by the time we were leaving so I would recommend booking.
