In this review, I went to Favorites to order the imfamous "Wingin' it" offer for around £12 for 2 boxes of chicken (roughly 8 in each), 2 bags of chips, 2 pots of beans and a single pot of coleslaw. The packaging was neat and presentable, not to mention sustainable as they used a lot of paper bags, therefore that's already a one up on most companies and their carbon foot print. The chicken box itself had a neat mechanism that stopped the chicken toppling out which I respect greatly. CHIPS: They were, to be plainly honest, quite average. Each one had uniform texture (soft, yet crispy on the outside) throughout the bag. Eating them was like ordering chips from any fast food restaurant and munching on them - nothing too amazing. I was quite surprised to see a little salt bag in the chip bag itself so that you can adjust how much salt you want to consume. A 7/10 for the chips. COLESLAW: Much like the chips, the coleslaw was still quite average. It's as if they took a pot of coleslaw from Aldi, stuffed it in a container with the Favorite chicken logo, then sold it. There was no difference between the store bought coleslaw and the Favorite chicken's one. 5/10 average. BEANS: Now these were quite nice, especially when they were so fete and warm. You got your average canned baked beans submerged in some sort of orange liquid you'd get from any store, but these beans were above that. They seemed to be peri peri beans (of which I absolutely adore seeing as I do tend to edge towards foods that are spicy). I just wished they added more beans than liquid. A solid 8.5/10. CHICKEN: For the grand finale. The chicken is, undoubtedly, one of the best chicken I've ever had. It wasn't the chicken itself that was so critical in my decision to say that statement, but the flakes surrounding the chicken truly carried the whole thing to victory. The sheer flavour (a sprinkle of spiciness with a taste of a nutty delight) and crunch produced by the flakes gave a whole new meaning to the word 'chicken'. The chicken itself was easy to peel off the bone whilst entire bones could be removed with little effort - more so when they were relatively narrow. Whenever I did remove the bones, it was simply reflex that forced my body to nibble off the excess chicken with the flakes off the bones. They were simply too tasty to pass up. My only problem was that this chicken is definitely a mysophobe's nightmare. The mess the flakes made when they dropped off the chicken was too abundant - the point was proven when I looked into the chicken box to see a load of flakes accumulated at the bottom. The chicken is absolutely not a food you want to be eating in the car unless you want to create a mess, however, this doesn't stop the chicken from tasting like heaven. That being said, I am unable to compare it to other companies chicken as I've never ordered chicken from elsewhere so a comparison cannot be made. All in all, the chicken is a 9/10.

I am a regular customer and nothing wrong with the food at all. However, they are VERY stingy with the sauces. Bought £30 worth of food and got two chilli sauce dips which may aswell have been empty because they were a quarter full at most. Had to have chips dry as there wasn’t any salt either. Food was fine but absolutely taking the piss with the dips.

The food in the pic looks delicious but don’t be fooled. A few times we have ordered and the chicken isn’t fully cooked. Wev had food poisoning twice! This place needs an inspection asap. I will be making sure of this. The chicken isn't safe to eat.

I have been going to this place every week. Taking same meal every week for £20. Last time I have been there on 09.08.25 and I been charged Twice. The gentleman behind the counter said that if u get charged twice to come back and money will be given back without any problem. I forgot to check on the day and next morning realized that I was charged twice. I went back to get my money thinking it's obvious. I was wrong. I was told that they will not give me money back and to come back another day. Today I am going back for my money. I will post regarding the results. I can see they are doing everything they can to not give back. Regardless if I get my money back or not I am not going to go there again. And yes it is only £20 but if they do that on a fee customers a day and get away with it. Just for justice if I will not get money back I will put more money in to take them to court and yes it is only 20 pounds as I said but also I am not going to let go of hardly earned money just to get robbed in daylight!

The answer to your response is that I have done that the next day and I was told to come back in 3 days... I came back after 7 days. I was sure there will be a problem however I received the money back. However no sorry no kind of like it's our fault and we apologies... No just got a look like I was a problem... Well what can I say. Food is good however staff not really helpful not nice and when there is a problem...

WOULD NOT ATTEMPT TO ORDER FROM THIS PLACE! Wrong order given. Disgusting cold food. Extremely rude staff.

I made a £30+ order from this ‘business’. When I received the order it was freezing cold and completely the wrong food and drinks. I tried phoning the restaurant multiple times only to be ignored. When they finally did answer the phone they were extremely useless and very rude, blaming the mistake on the driver saying he had taken two orders and swapped them around although the bag I received clearly had MY order number written on it, just with the wrong food inside. I explained this to the staff member on the phone multiple times after he repeatedly told me “it’s not my problem, you have to call just eat” in between having conversations with other employees, I assume. Leaving me to pretty much talk to myself on the other end of the phone. After this he continued to attempt to blame the just eat driver and said “I can’t do anything, the kitchen is closed” baring in mind it was 20 minutes BEFORE their closing time (and if they would’ve answered the phone the first time I called it would’ve been 30 minutes.) After explaining that just eat won’t give me my full refund including the service and delivery fee I was shouted out by the staff member down the phone and rudely hung up on, with any further calls to be declined. Waste of money and I’m still yet to receive any of my refund...
