Flava — Restaurant in England

Initially Loved it when ordered first time. But in reality they have Poor quality and delivery service. Ordered Peri Peri chicken with chips first time, loved it. Expecting the same service i order it again, this time on its own, was disappointed. The chicken was overloaded with marination sauce and was totally soaked in it. It was not dry as it's meant to be and the taste of the marinated sauce/masala was also sour/ "khatta". Totally ruined my mood that day. Will never order again. The price is also extra high than other shops. I didnt mind that as the one delivered last time was one of the best Peri Peri chicken I had in Luton. But never ordering again.

Edit: Thanks for replying. There was no specific preference required. It simply needed to be normal and handled properly by your staff member at that time. The condition of it wasn't preferable by anyone. In fact, it was unacceptable. It was overdone. It should of only been well handled like it was done when...

January 2025: Amazing food once again from Flava. Cannot beat it. Peri peri family platter was excellent, chatpata box meal was plentiful for £14.99 you get chatpata wings, chips, house rice, spicy lamb donner and a thick and succulent afterburner chicken fillet burger! - real good value for money. Spicy chicken donner was full of flavour and delectable. Best takeaway in the region hands down.

PREVIOUS REVIEW: 10/10. This is the best takeaway in Luton. Been coming here for a few years and the food is always excellent and never had a bad meal.

I was hospitalized after my husband and his friend ate from this takeaway. We know it was from here because they both returned to their respective homes with fever and food poisoning that night. The next day, I had contracted the virus- vomited 8 times, fainted and needed an emergency IV drip for severe dehydration from fever (ambulance had to take me and my baby). The likely causes include poor staff hygiene, contaminated surfaces or utensils, and food being handled by someone who was unwell. This raises major concerns about their food safety practices..
