Dessert Island — Restaurant in England

Very disappointed today, I usually order by telephone and pick up order and it’s usually okay. Some of the workers can be quite abrupt on the phone, if you’re closed why pick the phone up to say we can’t order? Anyway I ordered online today from Uber eats and it was shambolic. I ordered at 9pm and was given a window time of between 9:25-9:45, it was 10pm still nothing. Tried calling the place but phone constantly rang out or I was hung up on. If you can’t deal with the orders coming in then maybe you shouldn’t be accepting them. I rang and rang as I knew they closed at 10:30 but no answer and the line just went blank. Finally at 10:15 got the food but it was not up to scratch, cookie dough was undercooked and they missed some of my order. Never got the cornflake tart instead just the custard, have raised this with Uber eats. I think it’s so unprofessional not attending to the phone as where does that leave a customer? How else would a customer get in contact about their order? Truly disappointed and will...

The ice cream was very tasty, I ordered two ice creams and two milkshakes, but unfortunately they brought me a milkshake of a thick consistency that is impossible to drink,I had to wait until it melts, it reminds me of ice cream,not a milkshake ,I asked for vanilla/blueberry flavour ,and I could feel only vanilla flavour. As far as I know a milkshake is a liquid drink,when I kindly asked to change the drink to something more liquid,he looked at me very indifferently and said "no,that's how we do the milkshake" I told them that the ice cream window was all fogged up and it was impossible to see the "flavours" names,she didn't do anything about it either.. The staff is very unfriendly,angry,didn't even smile and in my opinion they don't care how to serve customers. P.S even if the restaurant/coffee shop has a great atmosphere, delicious food, but when the service is so poor, you just don't want to come back there anymore,where you are...

I never write reviews but this one I had to. This is probably the worst place I’ve ever been too. Decided to come with my family for a little dessert, first of all the faces we met behind the counter looked annoyed that we had even entered the shop.. and then upon sitting the girl at the counter made us move tables near the door which was stuck open (very cold) because she claimed there was a party reserved (which didn’t turn up the entirety of our time there) the table was dirty and we asked for it to be cleaned and again met by faces. The girl serving had horrible customer service telling me I can only have a crepe if I wait 20 minutes.. ‘’do you want it or not’’.. the food was not good at all, we ended up wasting more than half of it. Will never go here again, and I will make sure whoever I meet I tell them never to go. Have a word with your staff. Especially the girl at the counter who made me and my family time there...
