Grill Hut Peri Peri — Restaurant in England

Absolutely ridiculous restaurant. I waited over w hours for my food. Food was stone cold. I rang in total 3 times. The first time was 1hr 30 mins into the order the owner, mohammed, said it will be 10 mins, i rang again 15 mins after. No food arrived they said traffic the first time i ordered. The owners and workers are all immigrants and cannot speak a word of english. If you work for the home office please go and investigate and if required deport all of them. The owner mohammed hang up on me after saying he gave complementary chips, i laughed and said i didnt order chips on purpose. He hung up. I 2 hours in i called again as still no food arrived. A worker answered said the owner is out but the manager is there. I asked for the manager again after being put on hold. He then said the manager has gone out and cannot speak to him and then ended it. Finally 10 mins after this the food arrives STONE COLD. The driver apologised before i even say anything to him and said the restaurant sent him to HARPENDEN which is over a 15mile radius away from luton!? No wonder the food is cold. i call and let them know they said sorry and that they will sort it out next time i said this is ridiculous and that i am leaving reviews on every page possible. Gave these people 3 chances to get their act together and its still the same old. To all please walk across the road and eat at those places instead. These people firstly get orders mixed up, I ordered a full chicken and after driving back they realised they had given my order to someone else and gave me someone else food. Great for the guy who only ordered quarter chip and chip meal and got a whole chicken. So then I decided to get so called gourmet burger which was basically a flattened down over cooked kebab stuffed in some wet un-defrosted buns and with some microwaved salad which after spending almost a tenner couldn't force myself to endure the suffering of eating it and had to throw it in the bin. The final straw was when I against my will said left get a peri peri sub they have advertised and instead of wet bread I end up chipping my tooth on the rock hard bread, which wasn't ideal but then the chicken although was covered in a spicy salsa it was dry from inside plus there was no sign of lettuce or salad and they call this a sub. I ordered peri peri wings and the taste is below average but price is high for this quality. Customer service and atmosphere is worst I never ever seen a takeaway like that because while I was waiting for my order, their delivery driver talking with their own staff very loudly and rudely. When I see the situation I felt very sad for the boy at the counter, the driver nearly blackmailed him if he doesn’t pay the delivery fee he want he doesn’t want to go for their delivery. On the other hand, there was some European ladies order waiting for the food with their kids then the staff behind the counter asked them collect their food by themselves in unhealthy conditions plate 🍽️ so I would strongly recommend that do not go to this takeaway with family members but if you’re a single person and you don’t have choice then you can buy food...
