Great Sutton Pizza & Kebab — Restaurant in England

We left Derbyshire 5 months ago and have been staying in New Brighton temporarily, where I've tried numerous pizza & kebab places and still not found a decent one among them! Now we've found a more permanent place on the Cheshire border & have discovered lots of new places to try in the neighbouring towns but this place ticked all my pizza-loving boxes!

We tried a 12" special-type pizza, added a few extra toppings and opted for the standard crust. It was perfect depth, loaded with toppings and cooked to perfection! We also had a large lamb shish kebab, which came with plenty of salad, hot pickles & loads of delicious char-grilled, melt-in-the-mouth meat. The fries were nice too, which is a bonus as some kebab/pizza places get the fries ending up like cardboard, but ours stayed crispy & hot despite a 10 minute drive home.

The only slight negative was that the pizza could have been hotter, but it had probably been boxed before the other stuff was done & sat a minute, and I did also have to bear in mind we have a few miles drive home too, and overall it wasn't an issue as could be easily warmed in the oven if needed. To be honest, it was even lovely cold when we ate the leftovers later that night! 😂

The girl serving was friendly and efficient too, and the shop looked clean & tidy (as we went in to order (like the ancient people we are! Lol) but they do deliver judging by all the takeout bags stacked inside ready to be filled.

Ordered two pizzas, one chicken sandwich burger, one chicken sandwich burger and chips, portion of chips and two sauces. Sauces didn't arrive so tried calling and couldn't get through so did a live chat with food hub and the store said "they had sent them". Whilst talking to foodhub I tried my pizza and chips and both were cold, my daughters chicken sandwich and chips were both cold and the chicken tasted funny, my husband made the same comment about his chicken sandwich burger so I asked for the food excluding the one pizza to be collected as they were inedible and my money back. Next thing the delivery driver arrives with my sauces and apologised because they slipped behind her sea. Store has refused a refund but said I can get a new meal next time. They denied ever sending cold food and denied not sending the sauces when we received no sauces, cold food and chicken that tasted vile. Disgusting...

Ordered food yesterday evening at 7pm for delivery. I completely understand there can be a wait and expected up to 1 and a half hours as stated on website. After this time had well and truly passed I rang to be greeted with not only a lack of apology for delay but utter rudeness by a female on the other end.
