Greedy Belly — Restaurant in England

We have ordered from here multiple times but never again! First every time the wait for this is unacceptable we call prior and ask how long because we know it’s always a wait. Today we called and asked how long they said a 5 minute wait we was in the shop for 30 minutes!!!! Waiting is not a problem but when giving sugar coated time is very annoying. After waiting 1 hour 30 in total for food. They gave us burnt dumplings that were cold as if they had been waiting there. On top of that we ordered a crumble which was so burnt and the crumble is supposed to come with custard and gave us no custard!!! When we went back for the 2nd time they gave us 2 tiny pots of COLD custard after waiting for another 10 minutes!!!! We asked on the phone what prawns they recommended for us to try!! They gave us burnt over cooked prawns and even when the shell was off you could still taste the burn. Our order was £40 after waiting for 1 hour and 30 mins being given burnt over cooked cold food with no compensation at all!!! There was 3 other people in the shop and they were all saying the same and no workers even apologised this is totally unacceptable and should not be a business when have no understanding of customer service!!! A shame because first time high expectations were set now...

This used to be our favourite go-to takeaway, which we recommended to everyone! Unfortunately the quality of the food has gone down and the service is appalling. We ordered through uber eats and it took over 2 hours to receive our £80ish order (quoted time was 1 hour) only for them to forget the biggest and most expensive platter we ordered. I asked for them to please deliver it, and was quoted 1-1.5 hours (which is not good enough). After 1.45 mins, we called to see where it was, only to be told they’d forgotten, and then we were hung up on (we were not rude, we only said we were disappointed in the service!). They then delivered the food 30 mins later (at 11.30pm), and……they delivered the wrong food. Mac and cheese was tasteless and dry, chips weren’t seasoned, etc. so it wasn’t even worth it….. Never once did they apologise, offer anything for the inconvenience, nothing. Rather, they just kept saying they’d been very busy - like it was our fault we waited over 4 hours at this point - only to receive the wrong order!? Unfortunately due to their AWFUL service, they’ve lost us as customers and we won’t...

I am absolutely horrified at how terrible the customer service, the food and the timing was. The dumplings were literally burnt I looked at them and was in shock that they could even be served to someone. They re made them however they were still terrible and extremely greasy and flat. They said the order would take 30-40 minutes and it took over 1 hour. We also ordered the lava prawns which were burnt to a crisp and were so so over cooked and dry I don’t know how you can mess up prawns so badly, they even tasted burnt when the skin was taken off . We all got crumble which was as solid as concrete and tasted like i was eating a brick i literally had to smash it for it to even be edible. The crumble was supposed to come with custard which was forgotten, when i went back they took another 10 minutes to give us custard which was ice cold in a plastic tub.
