Greggs — Restaurant in England

I’d really like to put the point across and my experience with Karen! She was amazing her attention to detail outstanding, her complete customer service skills was just as outstanding! Karen offered me a box or a bag for my “treats” I said “ooh”, a “box please” (like I’ve never been offered this before, because I hadn’t!!) then Karen startled me again by offering me a cup holder for my drinks, I’m at this point bewildered because nowhere in the uk at a Greggs have I ever been offered any of these choices! My 5* review doesn’t stop Here oh no! The after care that was received is also astonishing but just as astounding! My partner asked for a cake, so I thought a bavarian apple slice. My partner had said something with cream (as I’d walked away, I didn’t hear that). On return my Partner wasn’t pleased what I’d picked, so I returned to Karen and informed her of my wrong choice and that could I possibly please exchange treats Karen took my box and placed the cream slice inside of it and said here’s you’re cream slice, you have that apple one on us! Wow! 🤩!! I promised Karen and her team that I would give my findings on a review, google is the only place I can give...

If I could give 0 stars I would…The whole place gave a nasty atmosphere when I arrived. The majority of the saff give you the most uncomfortable glare as you walk into the store and all I can just say is, if you aren’t white you’ll be met with bad attitude no matter how much of a happy customer you are. This also goes for staff as when you’re waiting for your food you can observe the way the staff are spoken to behind the counter from their superiors/manager And I can confirm, white staff are treated with a lot more compassion and general kindness when being spoken to. When asked to speak to the manager about the way the staff are treated I was given a dirty look and told she was the manager and so that what she says goes. The eating area is also unclean. Whole round bad experience. Wouldn’t recommend as the manager has 0 time for...

Went on Saturday just to get a breakfast roll, run by gobby women, who did nothing but shout at customers asking if they wanted sauce or milk, literally shouting over other members of staff. Not one smile in the place, I asked for a bacon egg and sausage baguette, from the look on the girls face you would of thought I'd asked for something they didn't sell, then she shouted did I want sauce. When I didn't realise she was asking me as others were shouting the same thing. She tutted and shouted again, then shouted and asked if I wanted milk in my tea. I don't appreciate being shouted at, all it takes is to come to the counter and ask not shout across to me. I get it was busy .but customer service obviously doesn't apply...
