Greggs — Restaurant in England

Brought two items from the hot food counter, sausage roll and a slice. Guy in front of me said he wanted to change his because they were stone cold. So I checked mine and sure enough they felt like they’d been in a fridge. Asked if I could change or get them heated up, short female manager said no they can’t and when I asked for a refund she tutted at me and made an awful face and just acted really arsey. Honestly should be sacked for treating customers like that at breakfast time, was very busy and really embarrassing. I never ask for a refund I’m not like that but when you buy from a hot food counter you expect it to be hot or at the very least warm! Especially at 9.30 in the morning it’s not like it was the end of the day. I work local and have been going to this Gregg’s every now and then for the last 2 years. Won’t be spending any money here again! I’d avoid, plenty of other Gregg’s in the area and this one deserves...

Not a very nice store in the morning at all (not sure what it's like a lunch or later because I've only been coming in the morning since I've recently started my job) every time I've been for breakfast I've always had a problem these visits have been at roughly 7:30am. The first time I visited I had a bacon baguette but I didn't know that butter was automatically put on it as this was the first time I had a baguette from Greggs so I came to eat in and ended up chucking it in the bin as I asked for ketchup too and don't like both butter and sauce, the second time there wasn't any baguettes at all, the first time it was completely cold and my most current time 2 pieces of bacon were nearly burnt and un-chewable (photos attached where the bacon I'm relating to is on the right). I am now stopping coming to this particular store before work, not a very nice Greggs...

We came at 18:45 for our Too good to go order (19/07/2024), rang the bell multiple times and waited for about 15 minute. Eventually a short lady came out and was very moody and quite rude. She made a comment that ‘there is a bell’, no hello or pleasantries. To which my partner explained we had rang it 4 times. She was arsey and made out like we were lying. Our food was then shoved at us. I have anxiety and doing this was a big step for me, unfortunately this has pushed me back in my progress and I won’t be returning to this store. I know it’s a hot day, she was probably just ready to go home however it was rude and unnecessary....
