Greggs — Restaurant in England

As everyone ha said previously staff are very bubbly and friendly. Place is kept quite clean half of a bottle of juice left on the table not sure how long it has been here. Few crumbs under fridges but nothing too off putting. Told my stake slice would be a 10 mins as there were none out at all, but given that I would have the rare opportunity to have something piping hot from greegs I was okay with the wait. For the inconvenience of waiting I had a complimentary drink and sausage roll, which isn't something that happens as much as it used to in fast food restaurants. I visited this Greggs store, Audley Avenue, Newport following receipt of a free birthday treat in my ‘app’ wallet. On arrival there were two staff members who were busy doing nothing. Eventually one attended and I asked what the treat was. No hello or how can I help only ‘any cake’ to which I made my selection and also two sausage rolls. Her next words were ‘scan your code’ which I did though she had already moved away talking to her colleague. I independently made payment for the sausage rolls and left. Rude beyond words….won’t be visiting this store again!!! Manners...

Probably the worst Gregg's I've ever been to, I'm not from round the area but popped in for a quick bite. Staff are not very professional. Loud laughing and squeeling. 2 kids came in that must of been a member of staffs children they are leaning on the glass and touching the inside of the glass display that is close to food that people have to eat. Originally wanted to sit and do some work but way too noisy, staff are immature, food was cold. My donut tasted and looked like it had done a 7 hour gym workout it was that sweaty.
