Gunthorpe Fish Bar — Restaurant in England

Called in tonight at 7pm for fish and chips after a hard day and we were so disappointed, the fish had been re-heated from lunch time was like chewing gum you could tell be the really dark colour of the batter, the fish cakes were in fact cold and the chips weren’t nice either normally we have it delivered and it’s lovely but because of this experience we will be now going elsewhere...

Was recommended this place so was a bit apprehensive at first as not a big fan of fast food.but full marks 10/10 Had large chips between 2 of us and was plenty of them large fish pineapple fritters and sausage. My daughter just brought us all fish and chips(6 of us) with curry sauce today (18/11/23) and it was absolutely amazing.. The fish was so fresh, it just flaked off easy and the portion size was brilliant ... The best fish and chips I've had in a very very long time and that includes going to the seaside... Will be going...
