JAFFA Blackburn — Restaurant in England

Wow! Wow! Wow! Amazing! My first time ordering from this takeaway today and I wish I could go back to every other takeaway I have ever ordered from and demand my money back. Jaffa’s have set the bar. Blackburn has always been a terrible place if you’re looking for good takeout food (except Manchester sweet centre, we love their veggie samosas and their chutney of course) so I was very reluctant to try a new place because of how many times we’ve been disappointed and how much money we’ve wasted on absolutely atrocious “food”. I am so so glad this place has opened up. The Shawarma is incredible. The naan is fresh and soft and DELICIOUS. The falafel … WOW! And the hummus - I am going to eat the entire tub with a spoon. The customer service was not good. The main manager who was too busy sorting a fight out inside his shop was really rude,did not wash his hands after attending to the fight between 2 drunken men,one of the men was a friend of his so he was trying to calm him down. The manager then started making some naan bread and did not wash his hands after all of that. You would think during covid they would atleast wash there hands, but also none off the staff had masks on. After i received my food i threw it straight in bin. I wont be visiting that place ever again. The man who served me(big bulky man, full beard)he is the only reason ive given 1 star, as he was so polite and gave good customer service, but cant say the same about that manager,did not like the way he spoke to his customers.Please avoid this takeaway. When this place first opened it was fantastic. I actually said that their pizza was a treat and prob one the best in Blackburn. But in the recent year or two this place have gone downhill in my view.

The prices have gone up alot. And they've stopped using olives due to increased costs. But how do you have Turkish or Middle Eastern cuisine without olives?

So the taste has gone down a bit too.

Service is ok and preparation in the open plan kitchen is efficient enough.

Today the food did not agree with me... to say the least.

Chicken Shawarma with chips at £7.50 is costing £2.50 more than what they charge on wilmslow Road...
