I can’t believe I’ve only just discovered Wokman through Uber eats. We ordered two soups: vegetarian and manchow. Both arrived piping hot and packed full of flavour. Having the flu and wanting something light, flavourful and easy to stomach was the goal and both of these soups ticked the box. Plenty of ingredients in both and great portion size - enough for two people to share. We also ordered some chicken dumplings - what I loved the most was the size of the dumplings, beautiful and juicy brimming with filling and steamed nicely with lots of garnishing. Dipped in soy sauce, they were incredibly tasty with a slight spicy kick. For the mains, we chose Szechuan Chicken with egg fried rice - and like the rest of what we had tried until that point - it didn’t disappoint. The rice was reminiscent of true Chinese cooking, and the Szechuan Chicken was the best we’ve had in the town. There’s no skimping on chicken, vegetables, spices, or flavour and you can expect a dish that tastes incredibly delicious - even when it’s re-heated the next day. We’ll be making Wokman a regular order from now and highly recommend it to any foodies or anyone looking for food with real substance - beyond the hoards of fast food places...

I heard about this place when driving past Aldi in Blackburn and also from Instagram so wanted to try it.

Ordered crispy beef bao buns (£7.95), chilli chicken manchurian noodles (£11.95) and salt & pepper chips (£4.95).

Crispy Beef Bao buns were very nice and good flavour, but felt was quite expensive. The chilli chicken manchurian noodles was not brilliant; served less chicken and small pieces plus too much soy sauce so couldn't even taste the vegetables so much and definitely not worth the £11.95. The salt and pepper chips were ok but felt not alot was happening other than red salt and peppers on it. To my opinion it's not as nice and special as lotus gardens version.

If i had to go again i would go for the bao buns again and try chicken version and maybe enquire inside about the chef special so i can give a better judgement about their best cooking. I do think this family meal was expensive compared to other places considering the portion sizes and what you're getting.

Please note that the wokman box is only served in preston branch which is a shame as that was initially...

Had an amazing few dishes here. The bao buns (beef) were the best I have ever had. The ribs WOW! They were absolutely delicious! I would definitely go back for these two alone! We tried the katsu curry (too salty for our liking and given with egg fried rice when it should be really plain white) was ok. Noodles (can't remember which ones exactly we had) tasted the same. Nice flavour but they all had a lot of soy sauce on. Everything was super fresh and hot. The portion sizes were really good and value for money. Toilets were really clean which was lovely to see! Staff were really attentive especially one server (didn't quite catch his name) - he went out of his way to turn the heating up for some customers on a different table which I thought was very kind. He gave my daughter some ice cream (was not on the menu) which made her day! It is always the little things that count. Overall, I would personally go back again and definitely recommend to others. Would give more stars in all of the above categories if the option...

Bao Buns were the best thats the only thing that would bring me back to this place The chicken spring rolls were terrible they tasted very weird and nothing like chicken, please change the meat you use in the chicken spring rolls as it just tasted very weird The decoration on the food is amazing The special egg noodles with beef, prawns and chicken was nice but too lacking of any sauce, it looked dry, but didnt taste dry, but it was lacking, i think if you add like a curry type sauce to it then it could uplift the bland flavour The staff were very friendly especially the lady staff, the decor was nice, the only other two bad things was dirty cutlery and expensive starters, mains are priced good, please clean more throughly, it looked like snot was on the knifes and forks it was pretty discusting

Got seated, ordered what we want and within 5-10 min our food came which was really good. Ordered a mega wok box which serves at least 4 people. It includes bao buns, egg fried rice with szechuan chicken, chow mein noodles salt and pepper chicken and chips and prawn crackers. Also ordered hot and sour tofu chicken and dynamite prawns which are not worth 9 pounds(You get about 5 small prawns). Overall food was really nice, lots of flavour and spice, would go again.
