Jasmine Palace — Restaurant in England

I don’t write reviews but people need to know about the level of rudeness and arrogance from Jasmine palace new owners my family have Just ordered a takeaway from Jasmine palace I used to love it very much when the old owners had it. I’d never go back the new owners were very disrespectful to my mam on the phone when she rung up to complain about the food. my mam order crispy shredded duck they sent it in a Cardboard box and when I opened it there was just a duck leg in the box not shredded. We phone up to say they have sent us the wrong meal the man on the phone just said we don’t do it like that anymore fair enough didn’t know there was new owners But there was no update to the online menu so we didn’t know. The delivery driver came back to the house with the shredded crispy duck And took the duck leg back to the restaurant don’t know what they were going to do with it. The duck was horrible, no taste very hard the sauce was spicy hot when it’s never like that the special Fried rice wasn’t the best very dry. The spring rolls were misshaped and hot spicy. My mam rang the restaurant back up to complain about the food and the man on the phone was very rude, when my mam started saying about the food he tryed to but in few times quite abruptly then wouldn’t let my mam speak when she finally got to speak, she said about the spring rolls Being misshaped and hot spicy he said that didn’t matter they were free maybe so but you want your food to look appealing also taste nice if you're going to be selling it also not be rude to customers. When my mam asked where the old bosses were taken in mind, we didn’t know the restaurant had changed hands, he said that’s what I’ve been trying to tell you they have gone my mam hadn’t asked anything about the old owners or anything about changing hands until he started getting snotty and we didn’t ring up to speak to the old owners so he just Assumed we were ringing to have a chat with the old owners or something. My mam had enough of his rudeness and said we will not be ordering again, he just said that’s good we were not rude to him or anyone who worked for him there was no need for that level of rudeness I wouldn’t recommend Jasmine palace to anyone anymore and my family have been going there for years it’s a...

Poor restaurant, disappointed with everything, no atmosphere in the restaurant at all no music just awkward (so much so other guests were putting music on their phones), Thai green curry just did not look or smell appetising compared to the same dish I have had in multiple places previously, salt and pepper chicken overdone way too crunchy. This restaurant is amazing they treated us like very important people made us beautifully tasting food . They catered well for our children who are 3yrs and 1 year old they lovrd all the food also . The mixed starter was super and the duck was very lovely and our main was made to perfection we could have had pudding but we were full .
