Our first time in Jethro's this afternoon (9/4/25) We popped in for coffee and cake and were very impressed by the welcome we received and the spacious, spotlessly clean cafe. A very good menu with food for all dietary requirements, all at very reasonable prices. Today was only for a coffee but it was a really nice cappuccino and latte, I had a delicious fruit scone with jam and a Roddas clotted cream tub (always a good sign) and my friend had a slice of chocolate crispy cake, which she said was lovely too. The staff were very friendly and helpful, which is how we gauge where we go for our weekly day out. Our next visit will be for a main meal as there were lots of our favourite items on the menu. We definitely can recommend Jethro's, on the main street in Haltwhistle, you can't miss it it's painted purple outside and bright and cheery inside!...

A bargain if the one I saw being delivered to an adjacent table is...
