Jigsaw @ Cricklade is a wonderful restaurant that delivers both quality food and a welcoming dining experience. Located in the heart of Cricklade – a historic Saxon town on the edge of the Cotswolds – the setting itself adds to the charm, with rustic stone buildings and a warm village atmosphere. The menu offers a wide range of authentic Thai dishes, cooked with fresh ingredients and full of flavor. Each dish is carefully presented and portion sizes are generous. The balance of spices and seasoning is just right, bringing out the best in traditional Thai cuisine. Service is another highlight – the staff are friendly, attentive, and very knowledgeable about the menu, always happy to make recommendations. The outdoor dining space is well set up with plenty of tables and umbrellas, perfect for summer evenings or group gatherings. The atmosphere is casual yet professional, making it suitable for both family meals and special occasions. Wheelchair access is possible, especially to the outdoor seating area, though the main doorway may feel a little tight for some wheelchairs. Parking in the immediate area is limited, but there are public car parks nearby within walking distance. At busy times, it’s best to book ahead to avoid waiting. A few more vegetarian or vegan options would also be a nice addition to an already strong menu. Overall, Jigsaw @ Cricklade is highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy authentic Thai food in a warm and welcoming environment – and it’s a perfect stop if you’re exploring the historic town of Cricklade or the nearby Cotswolds.

ABSOLUTELY TRULY AUTHENTIC THAI FOOD In the top 5 best thai food we have tried in the UK. We ordered a takeaway, and when we got home we knew it would be good when taking the lids off the food trays. The Pad Thai took me back to Chiang Mai, and the Tom Yum was a 4.5/5 as it needed to be Thai style spicy. The dim sum soup was super yum and the mango and sticky rice was just divine, a great effort for locating good mangos in the UK, which believe me is crazy difficult. For the reviews that stated it isn't authentic Thai, well if the cooks are Thai, then it normally suggests the food is authentic, however can we say the same for Tikka Masala as we all know where that came from. However, the food is 100% authentic as we know after living in Thailand on and off for 8 years. Remember, the UK food scene dilutes authentic flavours normally due to not being able to get hold of ingredients or too spicy or sweet. So take this into account. Recommendations. If you love Thai food or want to try it then this is your place. They have both dine in and take away options so give it a good and see what you think. #localguide #letsguide #cricklade #cotswolds #takeaway #thaifood #garystribe

Really enjoyed the Thai food at this restaurant! It's run by lovely staff who are very friendly and welcoming when you arrive. The tables are well spaced out so you're not cramped in with other diners. There are a lot of choices of dishes on the menu and prices are very reasonable. The dishes don't look like they have lots of food on them, but they are very filling, and very tasty. We enjoyed eating here and would definitely recommend it to others. It's a bit hidden out of the way so be sure not to miss it!

Arrived at 6.30 for a friend's birthday meal - table of 8. Drinks order taken and delivered after a while. Food order taken (eventually) then we waited way over half an hour for starters, some of which were cold. We told the waitress who took them away and returned them but they had obviously just been reheated. As they were chicken and prawn we said we were not prepared to eat them as you shouldn't reheat chicken or seafood, the manager then very rudely asked if we wanted to leave. After a few words they took away the reheated starters and we waited for what seemed an age for replacements. When we asked where they were they said they weren't doing replacements just mains now. When we asked how long the mains would be they said they were just stating to cook now. We had been sat down for 2.5 hours and only had drinks and half the starters. Needless to say we left. Awful service and their food hygiene needs to be reviewed.

We ended up in Kavali Indian restaurant who accommodated us with no problem and delivered our food in a courteous and timely manner they...
