Jolly Topers — Restaurant in England

As an ex- Lutonian I thought I'll pop in for drink with my husband and 3 year old son for a quick drink. I was highly disappointed with one of the bar lady's. She had a rude tone and was not friendly at all. When my husband asked for a cocktail which was on the menu she said "No, pick something from behind the bar!" Well my thought would be why list it in the menu? It almost felt slightly racist and we felt picked on. We were moved from a table because it was in a reserved area and told it had a sign on it. I said that's fine we will move but it had no sign on it. She then responded with "Then, you must of moved it!" Well I can assure you I had no intention to otherwise, I would have gone around moving the other signs too. This left me with a bitter taste, so I left but my husband stay on and he experienced further rude behaviour. I think I'll be taking this to the Trading Standards, as I used to work alongside the department during my year's at Luton Council. I would avoid this place at all cost until the frustrated bar lady...

First and last time I will go ther to be fair U have one lady saying thers no burgers to order burgers then she flips a card up with 2 burgers they have to order yeah the £12.49 burgers were available 🤔anyways paid it lads where hungry myself and husband had the roast dinner duo meat yeah meat looks and tastes as it's been took straight from sandwich filler isle and warmed up veg U got was carrots peas brockley mix yeah it's supposed to be cooked properly nearly broke my tooth roasties u get with it r tiny diced frozen roasties around 5 on ya plate then yorkishire puddings like a said frozen i buy same ones at iceland for my dogs weekly roast dinner stuffing was not nice at all u got a small and i mean small gravy boat for gravy yeah diddnt quiet cover a dinner nearly £13 a dinner really did expect a good dinner glasses had lipstick on all our glasses expensive ended up leaving won't go back and won't be...

The worst experience of my life at an eating establishment ever. Ordered sausage and mash....the meal was tiny and the sausages shrivelled and tough as old boots. The waitress offered to change meal tho there'd be a wait. What do you do when the rest of the party were eating theirs? Also diabetic and had insulin so just ate mash and few peas! ! Told waitress worst meal ever and she was extremely rude and uncaring. I said she insulted me and asked for the manager. Meanwhile 2 women started having a go....turns out was her daughter. Told them to mind their business but started to get threatening then. Really!! And we'd paid for the privilege. My husband and spoke to the manager Zane and he agreed should never have happened. Zane offered us all a free meal but we said that was never going to happen cos never go back there in a million years. DON'T GO TO THE JOLLY TOPPERS. .WORST EXPERIENCE EVER.HATED...
