K’ohana — Restaurant in England

If you’re looking for warmth, consistency, and a little slice of coastal magic, K'ohana is it. As a weekly regular for the past four years, I can honestly say this my favourite place I gravitate towards.

Perfect for unwinding as the sun sets.

But what truly sets K'ohana apart is its people. The staff aren’t just friendly—they’re genuinely welcoming, remembering faces and making everyone feel valued. A huge shout-out to Jack, whose dedication and ever-present smile have brightened countless visits for me and so many others. He embodies the spirit of this place: warm, consistent, and always going the extra mile.

Excellent cafe on the beach, with a good assortment of food and drinks and what I believe the best ice cream (Marshfield’s), having been to the Marshfield’s Farm in between Bath and Bristol. It is a great ice cream, especially the Blackcurrant and vanilla clotted cream ice creams. They have an excellent seating area, and they are building another seating area. Broadsands is a beautiful beach and you can easily walk to Elberry Cove. I would highly recommend this cafe, as the service is excellent. Second time you’ve served me a burnt sausage roll. First time I took it as a bad day. If you’re going to charge such high prices you need to make sure the food is good. You also really need to start giving people paper bags to carry their food and cup carriers. You’re giving people massive trays of food to carry (which they have probably spent near £40 on) and I’ve seen more than one person get attacked by seagulls or drop it people the trays have got damp etc. very high prices should = good food and decent containers.
