KFC Grimsby - Birchin Way — Restaurant in England

Food as always was good and what you would expect. Staff were also pleasant and my order was quickly presented. Have scored lower because Again for the 3rd time of visiting with my disabled daughter, I couldn't use the disabled bays as they were full with delivery drivers. Not too much of an issue on this visit as the car park was fairly empty but on the last visit, had to pull out to get her into the wheelchair and then leave my grandson with her while I pulled the car into a space, had to do the reverse when I left. Also on this visit saw a family leave as they were directed to use the screens but clearly didn't understand the system. I didn’t receive the food. By mistake I forgot to change the address, and right now I’m at my workplace. When I very humbly and politely explained this to the delivery man, he became very aggressive and started speaking loudly.

I asked if he could deliver to my current location and he said it would cost an extra £10. I said £10 was expensive, and he argued with me for a long time over the same issue. Then I said okay, I’ll pay the money, but he said there was no cash machine and asked me for cash. I said I don’t have cash and would transfer the money to his account.

Our experience didn’t start too great. Ordered via just eat, wrong order delivered and the driver refused to take back. Had no luck trying to contact just eat. However when we called the restaurant a lovely gentleman named Sam answer the phone. He was very polite and professional when dealing the matter. Explained that due to just eat driver not being hired by KFC they could not resend the delivery but if we were able to collect he would be able to assist. When arriving at the restaurant Sam greeted us and rearranged our order with an extra of cookies. Sam was a very nice gentleman who went above and beyond to amend our experience to be positive.
