Drove all the way across town to this particular KFC as the one in the centre of town is far too small and would be packed what with it being a saturday night.
Got there and the car park had plenty of KFC rubbish rolling around.
Two people were sitting down in the resturant eating there meal and one person was in front of us ordering. After standing for atleast 5 minutes while the only person behind the counter stuggled to cope with a voucher that the customer in front of me had brought in, we finally got served.
Asked what drinks we would like, tea was not available nor was any other hot drinks. Asked for orange juice instead which was also not available leaving only the fizzy drinks and water. I felt this was a terriblly small amount to choose from but went for the fizzy drink option which tasted completly fake and false.
This alone is enough to be frustrated and disappointed with as KFC offers a real niche in the market, compared with the other mundane fast food restaurants like McDonald's. Unfortunately our experience only got worse.
From ordering to receiving our order was very quick which was good to see as there was already a queue building up behind us. Unfortunately perhaps the speed of recieving the order should have concerned us more. As it turned out the fries were extremely hot and the majority were very hard and bright yellow not golden which in itself shows that they weren't cooked. They also had no flavour at all not even a smidgen of salt.
The chicken fillets in our burgers were very dry and tough, i can only imagine that these were cooked a long time ago and had then sat for ages before we ordered them. Straggly lettuce was the only salad that was in the burgers alonf side a tiny amount of sauce.
Maybe we will have learnt a lesson this time round as we could have gone to a mcdonalds restuarant a quarter of the distance from the house and had a much better experience. The whole ethos and atmosphere of this KFC is terrible, the staff hardly communicate with eachother and come across as being extremely grumpy and unfriendly which shouldnt be portrayed infront of the customers. This is a stark contrast to what is offered at our local McDonald's where the staff are very friendly and have a good relationship and rapport with their colleagues.
Overall i guess we will try a KFC restuarant again hoping that we can eat something other than McDonald's which becones a bit...

First impressions. Car park full of litter
Didn't go inside but used the drive through, I would describe the server as abrupt and generally lacking in general courtesy.
I know it is a fast food place, maybe not the best job in the world, especially when busy however a simple thanks when handed the money or some display of general manners at some point during the customer interaction would go a long way.
Food was ok as expected from a chain but to be honest I'll use another franchise where they seem to want me to visit rather than begrudge the inconvenience of my custom. ‐----‐--------‐------ I went back.... and went inside. Tables covered in crumbs and empty wrappers, all 3 customers were left waiting whilst the focus was on the drive through.
One customer was waiting to correct his order, one had ordered but was being ignored waiting for food and I was standing next to the till vainly seeking service from the invisible staff.
When it came to ordering, the assistant shuffled over, gave no eye contact, was abrupt and generally appeared so unhappy that I almost apologised for the inconvenience of ordering food.
When I ordered was given the wrong change, which when I pointed this out he knew exactly how short it was without checking.... and not so much as an 'oh yeah sorry about that' or similar.
Food was freshly made and of the usual chain standard so no complaints there, but yet again the customer care was completely non existent.

Wow what a dump. I ordered my food when it came to pay... the owner refused my KFC care voucher as he had already placed the order on the till. The whole point of going into the building was to use the voucher. I then was kept waiting over 30 minutes for said food. During which time many rude non social distancing just eat delivery drivers all seem to have priority and quite literally walk into you. Not a work from any staff regarding this. However that may not be true as the staff was engaging with the friends (customers) in various different languages. When I got my food it was disgusting the chips was inedible the chicken boneless banquet tasted like there was bits of plastic in the chicken the pop corn chicken was drank more like popcorn rubber. The beans n gravey was fine but that is not a dinner 15.99 wasted.
Anyone reading this please go to the KFC care squad they normally put things right this kfc is a joke and it ain't funny it's dangerous. Food tastes off and looked silvery colour we binned the food... Regretfully what I did eat managed to make me ill all night please do not eat here there is a hospital in Kettering in...
