KFC Leigh on Sea - Progress Road — Restaurant in England

😡😡 bad customer service I am a first year college student, my college friend and I wanted to go and buy a drink from KFC. we were disappointed that it was “out of order” and were left with no apologies for inconvenience or a reason why. so instead we to compromised and bought something else and without checking the server went through with the purchase but was then informed that it was unavailable so of course we were disappointed to get told two things were unavailable, the person I was with only had a certain amount of money on her card used for lunch and the refund was given back on card but was told it would take 1-3 days to show up. so that left her with no money to buy anything else or visit anywhere else. To their own guilt the workers behind the till couldn’t control themselves and were raising their voices, shouting and yelling at us. They were all the rudest people i have ever encountered and one worker in particular was getting involved without even knowing what happened just joined in shouting, yelling and raising their voices. ( just to clarify we didn’t once raise our voice, talk in a rude manner or swear back ) They were rude shouting obscenities at us and denied us keeping the coke that was already poured and handed to us despite how much inconvenience they had put it through accompanied by how they were acting, the customer service their is absurd. Fed up with KFC 👎 Came back after a year away (mainly due to rising prices) to place a large order for a group of six, spending over £50/£60 quid and had another awful experience. The staff were incredibly rude, unhelpful, and honestly just unpleasant.

I wasn’t allowed to order at the counter and was forced to use the self-service machine. When I asked to double-check the order — which I do because in the past they’ve overloaded the bucket with just legs — I was immediately met with attitude. One staff member warned me that if I even opened the bucket to look inside, they wouldn’t swap anything.

When I explained I just wanted to make sure the large order was correct before leaving, a male staff member shrugged and said didn’t understand my situation and to top it off he said he’d never ever eat from KFC anyway...

The restaurant was completely empty at 5:30pm, and it’s not hard to see why. Whatever is going on with KFC UK, whether it’s the staff training, management or company culture, it’s driving customers away.

I think I’m done with KFC. It’s genuinely disappointing how bad the service has become, especially when compared to KFC in the US, where I’ve had much better experiences, yu can customise your order however you want and no one is rude...

it doesnt even really deserve one star. if your in the area tha go to the kfc near mecca bingo sutton road, it is much much better than this place. I went here yesterday with my mum, an extremely rude man answered the intercome saying 'whats your order' i told him what i wanted but before i could finish he interrupted 'SIDE AND DRINK' no thank you no nothing just go to the next window, where a guy was stressing out getting orders mixed up he gave me two cokes when i only ordered one, the woman next to him had to tell him to calm down and breath, he dropped the money my mum gave him never apologised and was just a mess of a worker. THE GRAVY IN THIS KFC IS ALWAYS DISGUSTING this is something i have to point out, ive eaten here 6 times this year, the gravy has always got bits in it and watery not smooth and think like the normal one. chicken was tough and the only edible part was the chips.

can i also add that people who are working at this kfc look a mess, there uniforms are dirty, hats are dirty, hair nets arent worn properly. it puts me off eating all together, people always have a sterotype for mcdonalds and burger king workers from back in the day, but this kfc is...
