Worst experience ever – avoid this place!
This was by far one of the most disappointing experiences I've ever had with a shop/restaurant. The problems start with the staff: rude, arrogant, and completely unprofessional. It seems like the entire team is made up of close friends who act like they're doing you a favor just by acknowledging your presence. They don't answer questions, they avoid communication, and some even show racist behavior.
The food is terrible – it's either too salty or undercooked, and many of the products seem spoiled or of very poor quality. Every time I’ve ordered, I was treated with disrespect and a complete lack of professionalism.
When it comes to home deliveries, things are even worse. Every time an order was late, they would blame the delivery driver. But one day, I saw the truth with my own eyes – I was inside the restaurant while my neighbor had an order pending. The driver came to pick it up – the food was already prepared – but the staff simply ignored him. He kept asking for the order, but they treated him like he was invisible. After 25 minutes, one staff member threw the order at him with disgust and made him swipe the app. Then they started making insulting comments about him, calling him an immigrant and other disrespectful things.
After seeing all this with my own eyes, I decided I will never order from this place again. I now drive 20 minutes to nearby towns like Spitterly or Rayop just to avoid this restaurant. This staff is a closed group of friends with racist attitudes who disrespect couriers and customers alike.
I’ve tried countless times to get in touch with the manager or someone in a supervisory role at this restaurant, but it’s absolutely impossible. The whole staff is like a tight-knit gang, and there’s no one you can talk to seriously. There is no higher authority you can reach to share your opinion or explain what's really going on inside. The truth is, the restaurant itself could actually be a good place – but the current staff ruins everything.
Maybe in the future, we’ll find a way to contact the real head chef or owner, and hopefully, this review will reach them. They should come in secretly, in disguise, to witness firsthand how their restaurant is being destroyed from the inside by...
Read moreWell. Where to start? Maybe by saying I think the 3.5 stars is a bit wrong. And ask... If you like my review please give it a heart ❤️ it helps both myself and Google Maps. Thank You... I had a fabulous experience in this KFC. The food was hot quick and tasty. The Watermelon 🍉 thirst quencher drink was really delicious. The staff were all on their jobs doing things. The place was immaculately clean and they were continually cleaning up and wiping down. There was a lad called Harry in, who was leaving after two years, and the staff team, had turned up to say bye bye and they'd chipped in for a few nice things to take with him. They found a space for a quick bit of love. And were quickly back to working. You can see on their faces how happy they all are in the photo, I asked permission to take. Anyway, Kaitlyn was absolutely lovely and looked after me from the ordering process on the machines. I asked if anyone would recommend a quick meal for one. And Katelyn appeared and guided me thru it. At the end she suggested table service and gave me a table number and typed it in. She then delivered it too! Her Sister Keira was working flat out in the drive thru. She was happy, with an infectious smile and a cheerful disposition. As I was on my own Katelyn made an effort to check I was happy with everything. We chatted whilst she was sweeping up and wiping down. Katelyn's partner, she told me; "When he came out of the Army he got a job as a bus driver" over South Shields way and "he loves his job", she informed me. I have to say I've had a few KFC's over the years but this was the crispiest chicken skin I can remember having. And the chips were hot and very tasty with a chicken flavour too. What else can I say about the place? I can say this: Dalton Park at the Cinema end where KFC is, was busy, the carpark was full and moving all the time with people coming and going. KFC was a five star Google maps experience for sure. I hope more people take the time to add their comments especially when they've had a positive experience. You can see from my real time photos how clean the place is. The toilets were immaculate too. All in all a positive welcoming experience surrounded by happy...
Read moreOkay, buckle up, because this isn’t just a review — this is a love letter to the golden, crispy glory that is KFC… and the two absolute queens of chicken appreciation: Keira and Katelyn. 👑👑 From the moment we stepped into KFC, it was like the heavens opened and angels started deep-frying drumsticks. The smell? DIVINE. The crunch? Heard in heaven. The gravy? Probably blessed by Colonel Sanders himself. But honestly… none of it compared to the sheer radiance of Keira and Katelyn. There they were — two young sisters, side by side, holding their chicken like sacred relics. 🕊️ Keira took her first bite of that Zinger burger, and time literally stopped. Katelyn dunked her popcorn chicken into gravy with the precision of a master artist. I swear, Michelangelo painted the Sistine Chapel with less passion than these two showed for their meal. 🎨 As the fries disappeared (R.I.P. beautiful souls 🍟💔), laughter filled the air. It wasn’t just a meal — it was a moment. A spiritual awakening. A deep-fried bond that could never be broken. If joy had a flavor, it would taste like KFC… with a side of sisterly sparkle from Keira and Katelyn. So, to summarize: ⭐ Chicken: 10/10 — crispier than my social life. ⭐ Gravy: 12/10 — smoother than Keira’s comeback game. ⭐ Keira & Katelyn: ∞/10 — pure, unfiltered icons of the fried chicken realm. KFC should honestly rename itself to K&KFC — because without Keira and Katelyn, it just wouldn’t be...
